This one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 910613 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, and a fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is 2.3 miles from our condos. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trails and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

Thank you for your review. We are committed to make guest experience enjoyable. We do have 3 properties and I was reviewing the images to make sure there wasn't a mix up. This property does show carpeting and does match the pictures. I'm not sure if you looked at one of our other properties with hard wood floors and thought you booked it. I will follow up with VRBO to make sure there isn't any possibility of images being mixed up.

Overall a good place to stay. Really nice to be able to have access to a pool. Great suggestions on where to hike and what to do. The place could use a deep cleaning, found some previous guests hair in the bed and on the carpet. Also need new pots, pans, and mattress.

Property was easy to find. It sits in a wooded area but is close to the main road and easy access to Bayfield. Most of the property has been remodeled. The shower was not included in that renovation...the shower knob, doors and standing in a couple of inches of water was not a great experience. The carpet needs an update. There was not enough extra bedding for the futon in the living room that folded out for the extra bed. The kitchen area and dishes were in great order...the only disappointment was the pots...could not be used as the coating was scratched off on all of them. The unit is in need of a deep cleaning. The Wi-Fi was not good at all. The owner was great in responding quickly with a question we had about the bedding.

Quiet and secluded, conveniently close to downtown Bayfield. Very nicely stocked condo including a pair of mountain bikes, luxurious bathroom towels, large kitchen area with nice appliances, utensils, bowls, , plates, glasses, etc. Nice and quiet electric heat with many separate thermostats worked very well.

We loved this little condo! Very private, but close to Bayfield and the activities that we wanted to do! The weather was absolutely beautiful and we loved everything we were able to do! Very clean, everything was provided for us! We will definitely love to stay here again!!

The place was really amazing and very comfortable. The unfortunate part was that we had a winter storm and it took a while to get snow removed in order to be able to get out of the parking lot to make something of the day. A phone call to the owner and she got on the phone and got things on motion almost immediately and problem solved. Will be going back again someday, great place and awsome location.

Bring your own cutting board, but otherwise pretty much everything you need in the kitchen utensils is available. We found the extra towels we needed in the deck closet. Bikes (2) are provided - we did not use as had other plans. Lighter fluid was a available - we found after we purchased. But bring your own charcoal. Very nice fire area. Plenty of wood and chairs provided. I would recommend the property- cell reception basically doesn't exist- when you pick the right wifi - it worked just fine. (One wifi did not have internet)It is a hike to the pool, that is down by the marina. We had plenty of other things on our agenda -didnt utilize the pool. Close enough to the activities in Bayfield and a peaceful place to come back to at night. And breakfast out on the deck before starting our day. Parking can be an issue, depending on how many cars your neighbors bring, or invite over. Highly recommend the kayaking tour of the sea caves out on Devil's Island. They take you out there on a boat, then you kayak around the island before lading up and heading back to Bayfield. I'd say 4.5 stars! Thanks for the wonderful bucket list vacation. K & N

We enjoyed our weekend at the property. It was really close to downtown Bayfield, and we loved walking down to the marina and looking at the boats. We will look to book again if we're ever in the area.

Mark and I have been visiting the Apostle Islands for the past 15 years. We currently keep a sailboat in the Apostle Islands Marina. We fish, hike, sail, and mountain bike. The 22 Islands have so much to offer from light houses, sand beaches, hiking, swimming and berry picking.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because it is a resort style condo 2 miles from historic Bayfield. The property has a heated pool(open Mid June-August), full service marina, walking/biking trails and down hill/cross country skiing. It is nestled in the woods for down time after a full day of adventure. You can enjoy sitting by the fire pit, grilling out or just hang out on the deck.
