Dogs:
Please do not inquire if you want to leave your dog unattended for many hours and/or they are not house trained. We know accidents of all kinds happen, but please clean up after yourselves. If we have to clean up biological waste of any kind, a fee of $400 will be taken from your deposit. We are pet friendly but please indicate pets so you can pay the $200 pet fee. We are only accepting up to 2 dogs at this time for the $200 fee. Exceptions can be made for up to 4 dogs, but the fee will be $100 more per dog over 2.

Air conditioning:
If you like to set air conditioning very low, please do not book my property. Thank you. If you book, please do not set air conditioning lower than 72 and do not leave windows or doors open while AC is running. We will get alerts for this on our phone and attempt to contact you to either turn off the AC or close the window/doors.

Please disregard VRBO's "Explore the Area" the items and/or drive times are not accurate. Please inquire and we can provide you the answers to how far away False Cape state park is for example an 8 minute drive and Swan beach is a 15 minute drive. We are on Carova beach which is a 1 minute drive. VA beach is close by as the crow flies but not accessible without driving all the way down to Kitty Hawk and then back up.

Rental in a quiet area of Carova beach with private pool and hot tub.
4WD is a must unless you are a very experienced beach driver and you have a high clearance AWD vehicle, and you must lower your tire pressure to get to the beautiful 4X4 area of Corolla, called Carova, where the wild horses roam free. DO NOT feed the horses, normal horse food and treats like apples have killed them. Stay 50 ft away from the horses.

If you have someone in your party who does not have 4WD and would like to leave their vehicle on the pavement, here is a phone number to help you: 252-619-3633. They also provide a service to bring people from your group to your house on check in and back to the pavement where the car is parked, on check out day.

Twin Shores is owner managed, in business since 2015, and we take pride in providing our guests a wonderful vacation at the beach. Features: private pool (end of May-mid September) and hot tub, ocean views, rooftop deck, charcoal grill, gas grill, kayak, hammock.

Twin Shores is a reverse floor plan home so you will enjoy the ocean view from the living area. There is comfortable furniture, a 65" flat-screen TV with surround sound, DVD, Netflix, and extensive movie library. We have an antenna that gets over 20 channels. The sun deck on this level has comfortable deck furniture, built in seating, a gas grill and picnic table. The free-standing gas fireplace is not available. Our updated kitchen has everything you need to cook for your family. (blender, mini food processor, rice cooker, slow cooker, hand mixer, and full size electric griddle, keurig, and automatic drip coffee maker) Steps from the kitchen is the spacious screened in porch where you can enjoy the seven person hot tub! Through the door on the porch, go up the stairs to a large rooftop deck with amazing ocean views and star gazing at night. Twin Shores is dog friendly.

On the middle level are four bedrooms: (all have TVs)
1 King (private bath)
1 Queen (private bath)
1 Queen with Semi-private Bath (bathroom has 2 doors, one opens to the bedroom, and one opens to the hall) and Deck Access
1 Queen Bedroom with Deck Access, with toys for kids

There is also a den with a 42 inch flat screen TV, a computer desk, library of books for adults and kids, Nintendo Wii, and has a sofa (not sleeper) and a bean bag chair that converts into a double for sleeping on the floor.

The decks on this level are shaded and include a porch swing and other comfortable deck furniture.

On the ground level is the laundry, outdoor shower with hot/cold water and changing area, and the extremely private pool deck area for the whole family to enjoy.

A kayak is provided for exploring the Currituck Sound.

Once you book, you will be required to provide a picture id (driver's license), and to electronically sign a rental agreement.

1) Linens are not provided, blankets and pillows are provided. Please bring sheets and towels, do not expect to sleep on just the mattress covers
2) We rent our home to family groups only, and at least one person in your party, staying at Twin Shores, must be 25 years old. Please, no parties or events. No exceptions.
3) Up to 2 housebroken dogs are allowed during your stay. No breed restrictions, but please don't leave your dog unattended for extended periods if they are not crated. Indicate the number of dogs in your inquiry. Please do not allow them to potty inside the house
4) Baby Items: Folding high chair is in the kitchen pantry closet. Pack n play is in the ocean facing queen bedroom with the iron and ironing board. Twin Shores loves families, but is not childproof. Toys provided are for children 3 and up that no longer put items in their mouths.
