About this property

My Beach Getaway, Teewah Beach, Cooloola National Park. Family and Pet Friendly!

My Beach Getaway is 'your holiday at the beach', a place where you can relax and unwind.
Access to Teewah is by 4WD or AWD only along Teewah Beach. We are set up for 2 families, 4 adults and children up to 10 or 6 adults. It is a child and pet friendly beach house, with a fenced dog area for your pet plus a child friendly rumpus room, pool table and TV area, separate to the adults area. Take your dog for a beach walk, swim or build sand castles with the kids.
For the Adults we have separate lounge with TV with fireplace for those cold nights. The house is equipped with all your kitchen utensils, microwave, washing machine, nescafe coffee pod machine, air fryer, iron and hair dryer. We have views across to the National park, surrounded by tropical gardens and only a 2 minute stroll to the famous Noosa North Shore Beaches. There is a BBQ and pergola out the back with gas supplied and a fire pit out the front for those cooler nights to sit around with family and friends.

Adventure

There is plenty to do at Teewah. If you are a nature lover, take in the surrounding National Park, directly across the road. There is numerous different wildlife and birds including the local Black Cockatoo and Frog mouth Owl's, goannas and kangaroos. Watch the whales migrating to Hervey Bay and back or a Turtle nesting. Walk the Wilderness Trail or the Cooloola Great Walk or canoe the many waterways from Noosa river to Lake Cootharaba. Then there is 4WDing the many tracks to Double Island Point and Rainbow Beach. Try your hand at surfing or boogie boarding with a 100m stroll to the beach. For the mad keen fishermen and women there are plenty of fish out the front, flathead, bream, dart and tailer. Go to the Noosa shops for a retail fix or some fine dining. Try jet skiing, canoeing or learn to surf. Horse riding is also available along Teewah Beach.

This is our Family Beach House which we love and want others to enjoy also. We have owned it for about 15 years and will one day retire here. We have 2 boys and 2 Staffordshires who all love it too. Our passion is the beach and wildlife surrounding it. We love fishing, surfing or just relaxing with family and friends. We are volunteer's in Turtle and weed management and in the Rural Fire services.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area as it is the closest place you can live at the beach with nature and is still Pet friendly. There are no roads just sand tracks, no street lights, just the glow from the house and the stars. It is remote yet has all the creature comforts but still close to everything, shops and fine dining.

What makes this property unique

The house is family and pet friendly. It has a whole section for the children with bunk beds, TV lounge and pool table, the adults can have that quiet time or entertain separately at the back yard pergola or their own private TV lounge area. There is an inside fire place for those cosy winter nights and a fire pit for everyone to sit around at night and tell stories or toast march mellows out the front. It has beautiful lush lawns and gardens full of wildlife and is surrounded by the Cooloola National Park, lakes and pristine beaches. No sealed roads or street lights, just wake up to the sound of waves. Stroll down a sand track for a swim or a fish. Your holiday on the beach with all the creature comforts.
