Great combo of elegant and practical. Loved having a drink over-looking the gorge, having fresh fruit off the trees, and the overall ambience of a lovely old home with lots of modern amenities and thoughtful provisions.
Waterfall Cottage is a beautiful and peaceful place so close to the heart of the town.
Beautifully decorated and so welcoming we wished we had been able to stay longer.
Thank you Linda for having the heating on and some treats waiting for us when we arrived on a chilly day.
A lovely to stay.
Beautiful inside and outside with all creative comforts included. We love it here
Truly beautiful clean and comfortable home with a stunning backyard and outlook and all amenities included with extras as well including foodstuffs and kitchen appliances and utensils as well as modcons like streaming services. We love it here and will certainly be back
I booked this Waterfall lodge for a family weekend in Beechworth. The property is wonderful, a home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need. Far exceeded my expectations.
We really enjoyed the backyard, and the location was great. We would definitely stay there again!
This property had a perfect location being only 5 minutes walk into town, and right next to the beginning of a trailwalk. The backyard has a view over a gorge which a waterfall runs through.
The house itself was perfectly kept, and had many extra inclusions that made the stay feel all the more special.
Loved this property!
A great place to use as a base while we explored the history of the local area. The house is very well equipped to provide a comfortable holiday. We will return !
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy and comfortable home in Beechworth. The home contained many nice amenities and the owner was extremely accommodating of our small family. Communication with the owner was excellent. The location suited us well for walking to the downtown and for visiting the entire area. We would definitely stay here again on future visits.
This is a fantastic property in Beechworth. It is an historical cottage thst has been immaculately restored to provide extremely comfortable accommodation. Linda provided local honey and other produce to deliver a very welcoming experience. The cottage is very private on the edge of a gorge with glorious sunset views.
Well set up rental wuth 2 bathrooms and kitchens.
Excellent bedding and decor
Brekky provisions were a livelt surprise
It is on a main road right in townahip despite being rural looking near gorge in photos so there is a lot of traffic noise.
We loved the location, views and cosy comforts of this gorgeous cottage. We were kept warm and very comfortable with everything we needed on hand. Spotlessly clean, generous provisions and firewood and lots of blankets and soft furnishings to cuddle up with. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing stay!
We stayed 3 nights with our 6 yr old daughter. We loved every minute of our time in Beechworth and the house. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We sat outside and had wine and cheese with a gorgeous view over the gorge as the sunset. The beds, shower, kitchen facilities are all perfect.
Was more than we thought ! such a quaint place close to town and amazing backyard. Linda was fantastic to deal with and provided all those special extra touches you don't often get.
Definitely recommend this place AAA rating :)
What a lovely place to meet our family, everything we needed was provided. We had two bathrooms and bedrooms fitted out with extremely comfortable beds and in bedroom one, lovely linen. The setting was idyllic and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity and understanding in making our long awaited family reunion so enjoyable.
What an amazingly comfortable cottage so close to everything in Beechworth, we loved it! Thank you so much 😊
We greatly appreciated the very personal advice and suggestions given to us providing excellent suggestions for dining in Beechworth xx
Lovely period cottage which was immaculately clean and provided everything we needed for a very relaxed holiday.
When we arrived the air con was on and there was a fresh loaf of bread on the kitchen bench as well as a well provisioned fridge with milk, eggs, butter and lots of very helpful pantry items. There were even museli bars and chocolates.
We loved to sit out on the veranda at the end of the day enjoying the last of the sun and the beautiful view.
In the morning the garden was visited everyday by lots of birds and there was a very friendly little black and white cat who came to visit throughout our stay.
The cottage was a 10 minute walk/ 1 min drive into town, so in a great location,
Can recommend the Beechworth jail tour, our nine year old loved it. Would also suggest the Mount Pilot national park drive and visit to the summit.
We had a wonderful 7 night’s stay and look forward to further exploring the area in the future.

Why they chose this property
After years of looking for the right property, it just happened. There are very few houses in Beechworth with this view so from the moment we walked onto the property we knew this was the one.
What makes this property unique
You are on a 2200 sqm block of land with a Waterfall and only 5-minute walk to town so leave the car and relax.
