This cabin was just what we needed for a vacation to the Smoky Mountains. It was close to all of the attractions that we came for in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg including Dollywood.
This cabin is in a great location. Close enough to all the fun but far enough away that it feels secluded. The cabin was a little smaller than what I expected from the pictures. It was suitable enough for our family of 6. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin but if we had, I’d have preferred something a little larger. The setup was great for our family and the kids enjoyed the game room. We were satisfied overall. I feel like I need to mention that the floor in the upstairs bedroom squeaks like crazy! It is above the other bedrooms and we woke everyone up each time we went to the bathroom during the night. We laughed about it but it was very annoying. Satisfied overall.
We had a wonderful time in this quaint cabin. The location was great! About 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. Perfect for being out of the busyness of the main drag.
Was exactly as stated in the listing. Everything was clean and in great shape! Would definitely stay here again.
Property is exactly as advertised. Great location and exceptionally equipped for a family.

Nice cabin
The cabin itself was very nice. It was a good size for my family. The location to Pigeon Forge was great. The negatives were the lighting which other people had mentioned in the reviews. The living room is very dark. The listing said there was a grill and there was not. There isn't really any outdoor space. There was no mountain views which the listing also said. I would have liked more landscape to enjoy the TN view when I was in the hot tub or on the porch swing. Overall, the cabin was nice I just think the details of the listing could be more accurate.
The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean, well stocked, and everything in working order. It was plenty of room for me and my 3 boys, aged 8, 13, 16. The pool table and hot tub were favorites. It has all the comforts of home as well.. comfy beds and a great floor plan.
Communication with the host was great as well. There were some bad storms and a large tree fell blocking several families. The host had the tree cleared within 90 minutes of reaching out.
Was 15 minutes to the heart of pigeon forge and easy access to the surrounding areas.
I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.
The cabin is beautiful very very clean the beds were comfortable great location close to pigeon forge the game room is awesome will defend be staying here again
Fantastic property! We found it to be the perfect space for our family of 6. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, washer/dryer, linens and proximity to activities. We would absolutely stay here again. Check in/out were seamless and the host is excellent at communicating.
It was warm and inviting. Kids caught a couple fish at the pond. Game room was a hit with our kids. Convenient location to gatlinburg, pigeon forge and sevierville. All with in a 15-20 minute drive. Mel’s dinner great location for breakfast. Hot tub was clean and ready to use when we got there.
Our family enjoyed our stay! We played games in the basement and soaked in the hot tub! Owners responded quickly to a couple of minor issue. I would recommend that some kind of sticker or tred on the bottom step that leads to the loft. When coming downstairs, the last step looks exactly like the floor. 3 of us had a little slip. We would love to visit again !
Great Property - Quiet, Secluded, Fun, Comfortable
The property provided everything we needed for 5. Plenty of room. The Wifi was reliable for everyone's devices and staying connected to work as needed. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable and provided plenty of seating choices. The game room was awesome with air hockey, a pool table, old school video game console with all the classics and newer video game consoles that we did not try out. It was a great place to gather for pool challenges and snacks after fun days of exploring the area. Two bathrooms with plenty of towels and hot water served our 5 well. The location gets you away from the hustle of PG but it's a short drive to Pigeon Forge. It is a bit of a drive to reach Cades Cove, Gatlinburg or the rafting areas but we knew that going in. The road is very quiet and the porch provided plenty of peace and quiet for morning coffee while watching the wildlife. We loved the rocking chairs. The view of other cabins is limited. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook a couple of meals along with breakfast. The fireplace looked nice but we did not try it (probably awesome in the winter with the views). The A/C worked great for us. The washer/dryer also worked great for us. Every room includes a TV but we did not really utilize them much. The host has outside lighting on timers which is a really nice touch especially when returning after dark. We have used VRBO a lot over the years and this property rates near the top with zero complaints from us.
This was our 3rd trip to the area and this was by far the best loaction yet. Only about a 10 minute ride to Pigeon Forge yet tucked back into the woods enough that you are in a different world. Super clean, all amenities worked properly and something for eveyone. We even saw this black bear 3 of the 7 days we were there. Turkeys cruising around the neighborhood almost daily. Adults and kids enjoyed the game room. Well worth the $$ we would book this one again!
Overall this cabin is very nice and clean. Absolutely loved sitting on the porch every morning and evening. Kitchen is a little small but it served our purpose. Would definitely stay again.
Had a very nice time and we enjoyed the cabin...But the Lighting was way too dim. We like to play board games and card games at the end of the day, but the lighting was so dim we couldn't play cards at night...Again a minor issue but be aware and bring extra lighting if you like to read or play games.
We love this cozy cabin! It was perfect for our family.
The cabin was spacious, clean, and fun for the whole family. It’s just far enough out in the country and still just minutes away from all the wonders of pigeon forge. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Our family was very happy with this rental. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 day vacation to Pigeon Forge/Dollywood. The boys loved the game room, bedrooms were big and comfortable and kitchen was big enough for our family. It was an easy drive to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. We’d definitely stay here again!
This cabin was in great shape, including bathrooms, linens and furniture. We arrived when it was dark, but the exterior was well lit on a timer- so pretty! The dining table is bigger than it appears in the pictures. The lighting in the main level common area was not sufficient. We almost pulled a lamp from the bedroom to play cards at the table. We loved everything else and would stay again!

About the host
Hosted by King Mountain Rentals
Our family is definitely a mountain loving family. We have been coming to the Smokies since our honeymoon in 2000. We fell in love with the area and have visited every year since. Our kids LOVE coming to the mountains and enjoying all of the attractions and their favorite restaurants each trip. In 2016, we decided to make this area our home away from home. We are so excited to share our home with you!!
Why they chose this property
We love the area that our cabin is located in because it is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but easy to access and get around on the backroads when you want to avoid the traffic. Perfect for a family with kids!
What makes this property unique
It is conveniently located off of Stoplight #3 in an area that is building up quickly. We love that our property is in a private resort subdivision with a large front yard and free fishing year round. Cabin homes in the subdivision are spread out allowing for maximum privacy for you and your family and friends. It's more than the luxury of a hotel with a reasonable price to be in a cabin home setting. The view is wonderful, especially in the fall!
