Wonderful Balmoral holiday

Brad and Gigi are gracious hosts, so helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay. The house is in an excellent location, very easy 2minute walk to Balmoral beach. The views are gorgeous and the house is very well kept and amenities are top notch. Couldn’t ask for a better base to visit Sydney.

Brad, the host, went the extra mile. From the moment we set up the booking he called me just to say hi and connect. Throughout our trip he would check in regularly to make sure we were having no issues and to offer help. The home itself was rebuilt during Covid and is beautiful and in fantastic condition. Location was exceptional and only a 1 minute walk down to the beach down some steps. Balmoral Beach and Edwards beach are simply gorgeous (you can see Edwards beach from the house). As someone who has rented about 20 properties across the world over the last 10 years (3 in Mosman), I would rate this among the very top.

Balmoral Blue

This property is in a fabulous location, just a block or so up the hill from Balmoral Beach where we enjoyed daily coffees, delicious meals and an array of water sports. A few blocks the other way are the elegant Mosman shops where we regularly provisioned ourselves. The house itself was clean and well-equipped and the owner was very responsive to our questions and requests for a couple of missing items. It absorbed our group of eight adults very comfortably.

Excellent house for a family stay

We were over for a wedding with the family (six adults, 3 kids and a babe) for eight days. The house and the location could not have suited us better. Spacious, comfortable, indoor/outdoor living with ample terraces, heated pool, bbq etc. Very handy to a beautiful beach and some very nice cafes/restaurants. Also Mosman shopping just a short drive or 10min walk. Taronga Zoo very handy too. The owner, Brad, and his daughters were very helpful and obliging with any queries and suggestions.

Great Location!

We stayed at Balmoral Blue for three weeks over Christmas and had a great time! The location couldn't have been better and we were able to go to Balmoral and all it's fabulous restaurants every day. The kids also loved the pool/hot tub at the house - couldn't get them out! There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and Brad was very helpful. Very happy to recommend.

Great Place to stay

We had our wedding at Balmoral beach so we booked this place for our relatives from overseas to stay at. Brad was an excellent host, the place was amazing and the 4 parking spots (2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway) was very helpful. Brad is also very knowledgeable in everything from local attractions to weather forecast ( no joke, it was forecast to rain on our big day and Brad predicted it will not, he was right).

Excellent house, location and pool.

Christmas and New Year stay. Two families with the 5 kids under 6 years old found the place spacious both inside and out with a top class pool. Very close to the beach yet sheltered from afternoon sea breezes. Brad the owner stayed in the Granny flat during half our stay and was on hand with any help we needed and kindly lent beach furniture to us. Beach and restaurants are superb. Large groups may benefit from the granny flat for the extra bathroom and we found a car very useful.

Beautiful home, perfect location!!

We went to Sydney for a wedding with a few other couples, and were looking for a nice home with a good location. We definitely found it in this home! It had everything we needed, it was VERY clean. The beach is a short walk away, and the breakfast at the restaurants on the beach is some of the best we have ever had. It's great that the home has a pool and hot tub, although we only used it once. There is also shopping close by, so we didn't really need a car. We used Uber the whole time, and it was very easy. All in all, we were extremely happy with the home, and would definitely stay there again if we were in the Sydney area.

Location location location

We had a wonderful visit with family from OS for our daughters wedding on Balmoral Beach.The house was perfectly positioned for our activities around the wedding and all the visitors loved the accessibility to the beach and the tourist attractions. There was ample room for all of us (10in all) and we loved the balcony and BarBQue area. The owner made us feel very welcome.

A beautiful house in Balmoral

As a family of 6 we loved this property, it's position and proximity to the beach. Lovely views from the terrace and ideal for barbecuing. The house was spotless and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Balmoral, it has a wonderful community and some great places to have breakfast. We particularly enjoyed The Boathouse on the beach with stunning views. Would definitely recommend, thank you Brad and Gigi for your hospitality.

Christmas/ New Year 2014/2015

We had a great time staying in Balmoral Blue. The house itself is very large and well appointed (we were staying with two other families with five kids in total and there was more than enough room for all of us). Fantastic balcony with views down to Balmoral Beach - we had many enjoyable evenings spent eating BBQ with a glass of wine. Finally, the location is superb. It is about 5 minutes from the Bathers' Pavilion and Balmoral Beach. Very convenient and it meant we could walk to the beach rather than needing to drive. A really special couple of weeks.

Balmoral hideaway

The house and location is perfection! We stayed for 7 nights in October 2014 and the Sydney weather was turned on for us. Split over three levels this house provides all the creature comforts that you would find in any high end accommodation. The house has plenty of natural light, extensive glass balconies and a view out to North head. We would wake up to the sound of the small waves breaking on Balmoral beach and the sound of native birds calling in the trees that surround the property. Balmoral beach is a 2min walk away and it provides excellent dining and a safe swim area at the Balmoral bathers. Simply Beautiful!

We had a great stay in Sydney and the centre of the enjoyment was the house. It was in great condition great views good location and the hospitality and support we received from the owner Brad was excellent. The layout of the house enabled us to have a fabulous family holiday to support my son's wedding. Everything was good in the house the beds, living areas and the bathrooms.

Excellent Home Great Location

Thankyou for a lovely Home to spend our holiday, Having meet my sister and family there as well, there was plenty of room for all of us 9 in total. The house is fantastic lovely garden surroundings also has great view of the Bay in what can only be described as a lovely part of Sydney. 2 minutes walk to Balmoral Beach, Public transport close to take you anywhere you need. Excellent accommodation, we were a group who attend a Rotary Convention in June each year somewhere in the world, this year it was Sydney, Brad's home was excellent, it accommodated most of the group and allowed us more time together, the home was large, private, had all the facilities and located in a beautiful part of Sydney

Great Stay Fantastic Weather

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Weather was fantastic for May. Location is fabulous and close to where we needed to be. The driveway is VERY steep so you need to be confident in negotiating it. My 90 year old dad couldn't walk it. Kitchen needs, you need to take everything with you. There are no condiments (not that it is advertised there are any) salt, pepper oil's etc. We also took our coffee machine because we like a good coffee. Shops in Neutral Bay are really good (5min). It has the feeling of privacy even though you are overlooked by the neighbours, but in saying that it doesn't bother you. Outlook over lovely gardens, the view to Sydney Northern head is very good. The Kookaburras singing were beautiful at 6am each morning. Beds were very comfortable. For two of our seven nights we ended up with 9 staying (1 toddler) and that was a good number. The swimming pool wasn't too clean which was a shame.

The perfect family base in Sydney

We had my family of 5, my brother and his 3 and my mum and dad, and this place was perfect. Literally 3 mins from the Balmoral beach. Fabulous deck for BBQ's. Loads of bedrooms all spaced out. 10 mins drive from the Zoo. Beautiful views of the sea, and surrounded by tropical trees. The only negative was that it was overlooked by other houses, but this didn't bother us. I wish I lived there.

Perfect Wedding Week

The house was the perfect base for our large family group gathered in Sydney for the wedding, at Balmoral Beach, of one of our daughters. Great living spaces, the large terrace and the pool and jacuzzi all provided opportunities for us (the group included 3 generations and 2 toddlers) to do our own thing while still being together. Balmoral has to be one of the most beautiful parts of Sydney and to be able to wake up to the waves breaking and to be on the beach in minutes makes Balmoral Blue a very special holiday home indeed.

Just Awesome!

The property is everything that it says it is, the pictures are a very accurate description of the house. The house is beautiful, full of light and space to spare. Our group was big and diverse, the age range was from 11 to 74 and the property worked beautifully for us and our needs. It was super close to the beach (less than 1/2 a block) the beach was gorgeous and family friendly with lots of places to eat or just grab coffee. You could not only see but hear the ocean from the property and we woke up to the sounds of birds every morning. The place is so close to the city and public transport is easy and reliable. I would recommend this place in a heart beat and will sure book it again on my next trip to Sydney!

We had family fly in from the States, so we were looking for something with space to hang out, but close enough to all the city has to offer. Balmoral Blue was perfect. Public transport was close by, the house had plenty of space,the kids loved the pool, and we absolutely loved the easy walk to Balmoral Beach in the morning for coffee and in the evening for fish and chips. We highly recommend this property and hope to book again in the future.

We really loved the bright and airy beach style of the house. Heaps of sun, a heated pool/spa were great to use (although heating wasnt needed for the pool), and a nice lawn area as well. The decks off all living areas provided lots of space to live and entertain outside as well. A very private place yet so close to the beach, transport and restaurants/caf's The pictures were a faithful rendition of what the the house is like. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Can't recommend the place highly enough, even the details down to the manual of how everything worked, from remotes, TV, intercom etc and what to do locally
