Sunnyside Studio - Pet Friendly Luxury Escape

A sophisticated, peaceful and private luxury escape surrounded by gorgeous tropical greenery. Set in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from beautiful Nobbys, Shelley and Flynns Beaches and within walking distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants. A 5 minute drive from town, it has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay, including free WIFI. Relax indoors or in the private fully fenced courtyard whilst listening to the sounds of the ocean and charms of the local wildlife.

This stylish, modern and comfortable small pet & fur baby friendly studio is in a fantastic location within easy walking distance to Nobbys Beach, Shelley Beach and Flynns Beach (which is patrolled) and the wonderful Koala Hospital and Sea Acres Rainforest. It is owned by a Ceramic Artist and a Builder/Bee Keeper and has been tastefully decorated with original and interesting concepts showing our creative personalities. It features polished concrete with sisal rugs throughout, comfortable queen size bed and a double size sofa lounge, block-out blinds, luggage and hanging space for clothes, high quality linen and bath towels, bathroom with shower, toilet, laundry with washing machine, clothes airer and iron, outdoor retractable double clothesline, equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, fridge, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Tea pot, microwave, ottomans, small dining table to sit 2 people comfortably, free WIFI, 40 inch adjustable HD smart TV, Netflix, an assortment of magazines/books, reverse cycle air conditioning (please turn off when you go out), fan overhead, outdoor bbq & dining setting to sit 3 people and free off-street parking large enough for a car and trailer.

A selection of refreshments are included together with milk options, a selection of teas, your choice of coffee options and also hot chocolate.

The studio is North facing and enjoys a lovely sea breeze and also offers privacy from the Eastern side, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy this beautiful area any time of the day – either sharing a cuppa with the many visiting birds first thing or perhaps a wine or beer with a cheese platter while the sun sets!

You will have access to the studio from either the Northern side (with off-street parking) or from the Eastern side which also has ample free street parking, via a secure touchscreen electronic deadbolt (user code provided upon booking). First you will need to activate the screen (by touching with palm, back of hand or with three or more fingers until digits illuminate), then touch the random digits that light up (this is a security feature), then enter the code provided by us and press the Lock symbol (bottom right-hand corner). The door will then unlock. There is also a key available if required.

We love to meet our guests and are happy to chat and assist with any local information. We are available by phone or can leave you alone as you desire. The choice is yours! We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful oasis and hope you enjoy our space as much as we do.

As this gorgeous, intimate space comprises of a queen bed and double sofa lounge, there is still enough room to walk around when the sofa lounge is folded out however it is ideally suited to either a couple, three adults, a couple with two small children or business executives travelling alone or with another person. We appreciate the wish to travel with your precious pets but our space can only accommodate small to medium fur babies and caged feathered friends.

If you would like to bring your pet, please let us know when booking as a courtesy and so we can welcome them by name. Please bring your pets favourite bedding (no pets on the bed, sofa or furniture please), food and water bowls with you. Pets are not to be left unattended indoors at any time or out in the courtyard for an undue length of time as this can cause distress to your pet in a strange environment. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours and are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Waste bags are to be disposed of in the bins around the back of the studio. Pets must not cause damage to the studio, furnishings, plants or artworks. We assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises - guests shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.

Beside the studio is our garage which includes our working bee keeping extraction area which we may be using at certain times throughout the day. We will keep to ourselves as best as possible but you are most welcome to come for a look and chat when we are home! In the early mornings and late evenings, (depending on circumstances) we will be opening and closing our honey honesty box which sits on the front nature strip close to the road in front of the studio. The box won’t impact on parking at all and will not cause any disruption to you.
