Lakefront PLUS Golf Course, WOW! It’s a perfect destination for golfers, couples, a girl's weekend or for your family… Large or Small-SWIM, BOAT, FISH, GOLF, TAKE A WALK (2 mi scenic) OR just RELAX in a comfortable chaise on your PRIVATE DOCK, the choice is yours! The 2300 sq ft 3 bedroom ranch has been remodeled. With 180 feet of lake frontage, it sits among the natural surroundings of picturesque Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua branch)'quiet side'. There's a view of the lake from practically every room. The lake house is tastefully decorated and features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast bar and island. Love swimming, then you will love the new Floating Steps on the dock. No more ladders to climb!


Enjoy lakeside dining either inside or on the charming covered deck complete with a Weber gas grill and plenty of seating. The wrap-around deck provides the ambiance of both the lake and spectacular Missouri river bluffs. It's the perfect place to congregate.

Inside, the large, vaulted great room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows complete with panoramic view, a stunning stone corner fireplace and a new 55 inch Flat screen TV. During cool or rainy days, Curl-up in front of the Fireplace with a good book or play one of our many family friendly games, select a movie from Netflix or from one of the Satellite Movie/Sports channels or just sit & enjoy the amazing view!

Bedroom arrangements include a LARGE MASTER SUITE with a KING SIZED bed, private balcony & TV. Adjacent SPA-TYPE MASTER BATH with a glass block walk-in shower, twin vanities and dressing room/walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has a KING SIZED bed, walk-in closet and Jack & Jill bath shared with 3rd bedroom which has 2 QUEEN SIZE beds.

There are 2 roll-away beds available. Also, (Portable Crib) Pack-n-Play could be placed in any of the 3 walk-in closets (Yes, they're large enough!).

The house has a laundry room/mudroom located off the kitchen, plus a convenient 1/2 bath leading out to the Oversized 2 car garage. Complete with 2nd fridge! Kitchen is stocked with everything from a Crockpot to Martini & wine glasses!

Don't feel like cooking? Visit one of Old Kinderhook Golf Resort's 2 great restaurants. One is casual & the other is Elegant with outside dining, yet family friendly, the food is wonderful & reasonably priced. We, the owners, have enjoyed our home immensely-with the help of our children, grandchildren, friends, golf & fishing buddies! We have achieved what we set out to do...create a wonderful vacation setting for young and old alike to enjoy & have fun.

Awesome Stay

Home was roomy with something for all ages. The garage and fishing was a hit with the men and boys. This girls loved hanging out at the home soaking in the scenery. The home was clean with everything you could possibly ask for. Hope to come and stay again soon!!

great family get away

This property has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a relaxing get away. It is clean and everything is in perfect condition and the owner is attentive and easy to work with. The setting is gorgeous and the home is perfectly situated to enjoy the view from indoors and out. Highly recommend this rental!

The original intention was to have a small Thanksgiving dinner with our soldier who is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. The dinner turned out to have a total of 16 and we all had a great time. Everything was as described and more. Thank you for a great weekend.

Ideal vacation home!

We've rented 25 or so vacation homes across the US over the last 20 years. The Burke property was one of the best experiences we have ever had. It's a lovely house, in a gated resort area, with a beautiful view of the lake from the huge front deck. Very nice homes in the neighborhood, with lots of space between properties. Ron is a thoughtful and friendly owner. Excellent check-in instructions, maps, house information and local recommendations. The house was absolutely immaculate and well maintained - the cleanest and most updated home we have rented. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a group would need to prepare and serve meals. Very nice appliances and gas cook top. There's also a Weber grill, which was sparkling clean. Furniture in the house and on the deck were great and all the beds were comfortable. Nice quality linens and towels. Very clean two car garage. Our dog enjoyed the graveled and fenced dog run in the back of the house, which also includes a wooded hillside to explore. Lots of fun things to do in the area and good grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We had a great time at the Burke house!

November 2-8, 2022 Family Vacation

Pictures didn’t quite do justice as we first viewed this beautiful home on the lake. The awesome rooms inside were more than what we expected - perfect! The lake offered up many catfish that provided a delicious meal for all of us. (Thank the Lord for His provision) Having the long forgotten pleasure of an old fashion wiener roast (and S’mores) was enjoyed by all Thank you Ron and Barb for sharing your home, that gave us a never-to-be-forgotten family time. Amazing Lake Rental

This house was the best rental we have ever had at the lake. It's all on one level, there's a fenced back area for the dog, the interior of the home is impeccable, the view is spectacular, and it is close to restaurants and groceries.

Wonderful Home and Hosts!

Beautiful lakefront home on a quiet no-wake cove. The front pictures of the home don't do it justice, it is much closer to the water than it may appear. We brought our 21' sport boat, jet ski and their trailers. There was plenty of room to easily park several vehicles, and the dock with lifts was awesome for protecting our boats, swimming, fishing and relaxing. Community boat launch is very handy and well maintained. Boat gas is available about 10 minutes away at Cave Marina. The house is simply beautiful and has been extensively updated in just about every way. The owner lives in the home part of the year and is sharing with you a home maintained well beyond most vacation rentals we've had. The lake view from the deck is probably the best we've had, a mix of quiet cove, treed hills, open channel, natural rock formations, and not a single condo building in sight! We definitely would visit this home again!

Thanksgiving getaway 2020

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped home in a great location. We spent thanksgiving there with our adult children and their partners. We enjoyed hiking at the scenic Ha Ha Tonka State Park and biking. Ron, the host was helpful, engaged and wonderful to interact with. Definitely a place we would like to stay at again. Wonderful Vacation Destination

Wonderful Experience

This is an exceptional upscale property. My spouse and I really enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck with beautiful views of the lake and bluffs. The covered deck had comfortable furniture, ceiling fans, grill, even a tv and large area rug. We saw many deer and other wildlife on morning walks. I took provided kayak out one afternoon around the cove and it was very relaxing. We stayed a few days during the week and the lake was quiet and peaceful. The property is not located near any "party" areas and we appreciated that very much. The owners of property were very responsive to any questions. The home is generously stocked with high quality pots, pans, dishes and so on. We have absolutely nothing but great things to report...no complaints! Would highly recommend treating yourself to a stay !

Lovely home!

We stayed at Ron’s home during the thanksgiving. The house was beautiful, clean and had anything we may possibly need to cook a full thanksgiving dinner. The view of the lake from the house is gorgeous. Communicating with Ron was easy and he checked on us when we arrived to make sure everything was okay. Golf weekend

We have rented numerous VRBO properties for our spring and summer golf tournament trips. This property is by far the nicest we have found. Kitchen fully equipped, outdoor covered patio furnishings top notch, bedrooms spacious and very accommodating. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

the perfect rental

We have rented many places over the years but have rarely come across a rental which provided everything you could potentially want/need. Our family of 5 plus our GSD spent spring break at this beautiful home. It was amazing. Such a beautiful peaceful setting. The house has a great layout and everything is pristine! The owners are very knowledgable and helpful about the area and really care that you have a great experience. The outdoor fire pit, deck and dock all make this home special. They are well thought out, beautifully lit and well taken care of. Our dog was welcome and the gated deck, fenced in back yard ,mat in the kitchen( which was perfect for his dishes )and the great walking trails in the neighborhood made it so easy to have a dog at this home. We look forward to vacationing here again sometime!

What a beautiful home in a great location! This home more than exceeded our expectation. It was as if the owners lived in this house daily. Everything about the experience went perfectly. From the easy self check-in, to the pristine home and amenities. Great quiet cove location with fire pit and access to a dock. We'd definitely stay here again. Ron was quick to follow-up with us and make sure everything was as we'd hoped.

Great place to stay. Feels more like a home instead of just a rental house. The king size beds, the great covered deck, space for all the adults plus a couple of 18 month old babies plus much more made the stay outstanding. The fire pit was enjoyed by all for a s'mores evening. Guys enjoyed golf at Old Kinderhook. You will not regret a stay here. We definitely want to come back. Our only worry is it will be all booked up. Thanks to Ron (home owner) making sure our stay was was as good as it gets.

Relaxing, quiet getaway

My friends and I had an amazing time at this awesome lakeside home. The place was cozy and very well-maintained. The lake access was awesome and we had such fun hanging out on the deck playing cards and drinking wine. Ron was a great host and we'll definitely be back again.

I have 2 brothers that are retired and already live on the lake. Love the area and how friendly everybody is.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I rented this house for the Labor Day weekend in 2011 and we fell in love with the house and the location of the home. What is not to like: 180' of lake front with dock in a quiet cove, yet you can see all the activity on the main channel. Private gated community, Great Golf Course, close to town, everything is one level, and best of the all - is the view!!

What makes this property unique

This home is on the lake and is adjacent to Old Kinderhook which is a highly rated golf course. So you get the best of everything. You get the fishing, boating, water skiing and tubing, Great golf course. Plus, a 2-mile scenic walk which takes you along the lake and through part of the golf course. Golf course/Resort is so convenient.. as are the two great restaurants. Enjoy eating-in and the magnificent view from indoors or outdoor deck. Something for everyone... young and old.
