We’re stayed in this complex a couple of times because the location is perfect for our travel plans. The townhouse accommodated six adults nicely with each having a private bathroom. There is plenty of parking. Shawn was easy to contact if we had any concerns.
The accommodations were perfect. This is a gated community, and some other residents are less than tolerant, and at 50 we aren’t a party crowd. Being in the hot tub before 6 am got us a talking to. The renter was great to deal with. Not being super familiar with appropriate rates, as this was our first vrbo stay, the cost seemed fair. Location was accessible to everything we needed, was safe, and quiet. Two retired cops here, so have a bit of expertise on that. All in all, it was a great trip.

Some of the reviews left were misleading. This townhome was fantastic! It was clean, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It's located very close to the pool and large jacuzzi. It's definitely on my list to revisit! The host was available and went out of his way to help us.
We really enjoyed our stay! Condo was beautiful, views from patio and balcony! Our host was terrific, although we had no issues to be dealt with- which is a great thing!

Agree with all the description particulars. Great location, lots of room, great views. It was pretty awesome! There were, however, a few bugs, but thats par for hawaii. The carpet and couch were a little grubby, but im just nit-picking. Had a wonderful time.
Enjoyed our time here. Clean older property. Good location for getting around the island. Parking is good nice pool overall very enjoyable stay. Communication with owner excellent.

Great location for snorkeling and enjoying the island. It seemed like the sandy beaches for swimming or boogie boarding were further north. We didn’t have a car the first few days and could walk to the store and the beach. We were 3 moms with 2 kids each. We made it work, but it definitely is not set up for 9 or 10 grown ups. There were some supplies, but they ran out quickly. We had to buy our own laundry and dish detergents and toilet paper. But for the price we were very happy and the host was great.
We normally don’t write reviews and are not so picky but it’s hard to feel comfortable when cleanliness is below par: rug (living room & upstairs) and walls has many stains, stains on bed sheets, some parts of flooring was dirty and sticky, ants in kitchen, & saw a cockroach in upstairs bathroom. Also, there was annoying loud screech heard in downstairs bedroom when kitchen sink was turned on. It would be nice if BBQ grill was supplied with propane for all guests. Great location but hope they can improve by installing new rugs, have better cleaning protocols, fix screeching sound, & hire exterminator & supply sprays/traps for ants /cockroaches.

Our cleaners are normally awesome. Unfortunately Ann didn't report any issues if she had our cleaners guarantee there cleaning and would have come right back. The property is treated monthly for bugs but if guests leave sugar out and or don't clean counters ants can come it is the tropics. If she had contacted me we would have sent someone right over. Finally the carpets are deep cleaned professionally cleaned once per quarter. Please see other reviews for a more accurate description. Thank you

Could be very nice.
I sent a list of issues to the owner and was told he wanted to discuss, never heard from again. It’s a great development and the unit is nice, but tired. The smoke detector was in the closet without its battery. There was a can light in the shower without the trim ring. The paint was marked up, I suggested a magic eraser between painting. The front door an railing to the second floor was filthy!! I’m not there to clean, but I did the front door. My sisters wouldn’t touch the railing. A/C is separate, when we arrived it wasn’t on, I called the number, it took four hours to get a solution, I had to put the breaker in myself, and then it did’t cool until after going to bed. I asked for refund out of principal, no response to that request. The size of the table on the back patio makes the end chairs unusable. The small appliances didn’t work well or at all. The dishwasher and laundry were rusty. The carpet, though recently cleaned looked dirty, why not instal vinyl plank flooring? More pillows would help. Kitchen sink sprayer button was broken, as were the dining room chairs. Tv remotes didn’t work, this should be checked between each rental, no excuses, like I was given. This place should be constantly rented, but I’d look elsewhere until it is fixed up.

Our stay was great! This location is close to restaurants and shops. Very quiet property and the host was very quick to respond. The house was perfect for us and we will definitely stay here again.

This was the first time we stayed here and we thought it was great. Top tier communication from the host at all times, easy access instructions. The home is located in a gated community and close to everything, but far enough away for quiet and safe evenings. The community pool was heated and refreshing and a great place to relax after a day at the beach. There were 6 of us and each couple had their own bathroom which was excellent. We were surprised at how much we went to the store and so glad the market is right around the corner! It was also fantastic that A/C is available, it was all worth it! Mahalo, see you next year.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if back on the big island. The home was spacious and kitchen was well stocked. Location was fantastic, walking distance to beach and close to shopping and restaurants. We even had an ocean view from the balcony. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
The townhouse was spacious with large closets with hangers and drawers for storing clothes. The two bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs accommodated my son and his wife and their teenage daughter very nicely. The outdoor seating area off their bedroom was perfect for viewing the ocean and sunset. My husband and I stayed downstairs which suited our early coffee times. The outside table was a favorite spot. Unfortunately the gas grill was totally empty of gas. We chose not to refill for our one hamburger cookout. Having the washer/dryer helped tremendously as well as the dishwasher. There were extra beach towels to take to the very nice pool that was right next to the building. Parking was close. Shawn was easy to contact and responded quickly before and during our stay. There were only two negatives - the carpet downstairs is very stained and dirty BUT it is a light beige and impossible to keep clean, I’m sure, with so much traffic. The other negative is having to pay extra for air conditioning. It’s in the fine print but somewhat ridiculous, in my opinion, and should just be a given. I’ve never had to pay extra, nor has anyone of my friends who have rented through VRBO. The positives do outweigh these negatives and I would recommend this townhome as a place to stay.
Everything was as expected, which is a good thing. With the exception of beach towels, the unit had everything we needed. The biggest downside is that you have to be perfectly quiet after 9pm or the next door neighbor will complain. This means you can't even stay outside on the patio and talk. Also, if you like to watch a little TV in bed, you won't be able to in the master bedroom because the TV does not seem to work.

This review isn't quite accurate. We ask that after 9pm to please be quiet if you are outside after 9pm to be respectful of the neighbors. You can absolutely go out on the patio and enjoy but after 9pm quiet hours are requested. Also the TV in the Master works the guest just had it on the wrong input.
