Great location. Kids enjoyed the tram ride to central markets. It had everything we could have wanted. Easy access to the city, in a nice quiet area. Would definitely stay an again.

A super stay for a long weekend whilst visiting friends. Well appointed house which was perfect from the four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We were too busy to enjoy the garden (and it was a very hot weekend) but a lovely gardening to relax in with a book.Thanks for a great stay Krissy!

Great little house with well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and convenient for trains to Adelaide CBD or driving via South Road or Anzac Highway. Electric blankets were a welcome bonus with cold and wet September weather.

What a Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - this quaint 3 bdrm home was perfect for our needs - very comfortable and warm for the miserable weather over our stay. Beds were comfy and the electric blankets were a lovely bonus. Location was ideal - central to the city, marion, bay and airport and in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

We had a great time in Adelaide. The house was well located for a short 10 minute drive into the CBD. there was a park nearby for the boys to take themselves off to play cricket. The old house had lots of character but well fitted out for short stays.Krissy, the host, was very nice. we messed up on the exit. Somehow, we dropped the key on the path after locking up instead of putting it away in the lock box. The communication with Krissy afterwards was excellent. It would have taken some time, effort and inconvenience for Krissy to search for that key, but she did and saved us having to spend a considerable sum getting the locks changed. Thank you Krissy We highly recommend this place to stay for a trip to Adelaide

The perfect home away from home

We had such a wonderful stay in Adelaide, made all the more perfect by our accomodation. Kris’s house was just perfect, with a lovely garden, awesome air conditioning which was needed in 40 degree weather and all the kitchen amenities needed for a short stay. Topped off by some lovely festive goodies for our stay, thanks Kris. The towels were hotel quality, beds super comfy and we loved the deck and outdoor furniture for breakfast in the morning. Kris has supplied lots of brochures and pamphlets of all things you can do in Adelaide which we found really helpful to plan out our days. Communication with Kris was excellent and he went out of his way to give us an earlier check in on our day of arrival, which was 38 degrees outside and so hot! We arrived to an incredibly chilled, air-conditioned house - thank you! Glandore is in an awesome location, 10 mins to Central Adelaide (definitely recommend the markets!), 15 min tram ride to Glenelg , 30 mins to Hahndorf, Mc Laren Vale and an hour to Victor Harbor. All places we visited and highly recommend. The beaches around the Wine Coast are just beautiful and the water was so clear and sand so soft! We loved our stay in Adelaide, our first trip to this wonderful city and look forward to coming back again soon and staying here again. Thanks again, Kris.

Thank you Lizzie, we loved having your family stay, you left the home in excellent condition and asked questions if you needed to know anything. We do our best to give earlier access where possible and always treat people the way we would like to be treated ourselves – so having the air-conditioning on so that it was cool for your arrival on a very hot day is definitely a “must” in our books. I am also glad you took advantage of the central location to visit many areas of our beautiful state, not just the city side ones. I think that the area of Glandore is excellent for an all round view of what we have to offer. We try to offer a range of pamphlets and we find that other guests will also leave some of their tips for where to go, so we learn also. Would be happy to welcome your family back anytime.
