The property is located at the end of a long private road with the house at the center of a 5-acre hobby farm. Goats, hens, a Donkey & Pony roam the pastures. Your first dozen fresh eggs are free. Private and clean 3-bedroom house with comfy beds. 6 Hole Mini Golf and Regulation Horseshoes in the backyard! Try Frisby Golf and Bucket Glow Golf in the upper field. New in 2024, Pickleball court and net. A 4-person Hot Tub and Barrell Sauna just out the back door. Covered outdoor grilling on the large BBQ. There is a glass-top outdoor eating table under a large covered patio and lots of fairy lights at night. All this is conveniently close to the I 5 and I 205 junctions. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion on this trip! The house sleeps up to 8 adults with an extra guest fee after 6 people. New 2024 RV available for an extra guest fee. Registered guests are allowed to bring your K9 family members with a pet fee at booking.

**Extra space sleeps 2 in our new 2023 Grand Design RV on full hook-ups, private parking, its own fenced area, and new 2-person hot tub. Additional rates apply for this space.

Fantastic House!

This was a fantastic place for us on our family's PNW adventure. The house itself was part of the experience. And it was also a gateway to some of our other adventures. Jim and Jimmiesue are fantastic hosts. My kids loved the time spent with Jimmiesue and the animals. We played lots of family games on the property. We highly recommend this house for your stay in the PNW!

Fun farm stay

We had a fun and relaxing time at this property! Jimmiesue and Jim were friendly hosts and responsive to my questions. The farm and house were just as expected and lovely places to spend time. The house was charming, clean and had everything we needed, plus lots of fun games and activities here and there. The animals were delightful, and the whole property is pretty and very well-maintained.It was quiet for sleeping (the rooster never bothered us) and the beds were very comfy. The location was convenient to Mt. St. Helens and Vancouver, WA.You will enjoy staying here, especially if you have active kids!

Clean, fun stay!

This property is the best-maintained place I have stayed for sure. You can tell the owners care about the state of their property immensely. Had communication with Jimmiesue who was super kind and took the time to tell us about the animals and show us how to hold the rabbits. Overall the stay was perfect, and I would definitely go again!

Wonderful home!

We stayed here to celebrate our grandmothers birthday and spend some relaxing family time together. The home was fantastic, homey and wonderful! The property was beautiful and our children loved visiting with the animals. A slice of heaven close to home!

It was everything that was advertised. My partner wanted a retreat to compose music and I wanted to spend time in nature and with the animals. The hosts were so hospitable and we can't wait to return. We live in Bonney Lake Wa, so it was only 2 hours away. Oh, and I had so much fun with the Pac Man arcade game.

Perfect weekend getaway

All of the reviews and descriptions are accurate! We walked through marveling at how cute everything was and all of the personalized details there were. My two year old granddaughter loved the toys and the animals. We had friends in the area come for dinner and they were impressed and want to book. Property is only twenty minutes from Portland airport and close to restaurants and stores. We loved staying there and would stay again next time we are in the Portland area.

Just Wonderful

Beautiful setting. Away from the crowds. Pristine, super clean and every amenity thought of. The patio is exceptional. Large enough for family and friends. Lots of outdoor seating with wonderful hot tub sauna and large grill make you want to just spend your time at the house and not go anywhere. The owners are so accommodating and very gracious and so friendly. We would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Mothers Day Getaway!

This sweet little farm was such a spectauclar find! Nestled just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. The home was meticulous and even better than the online photos could show. It was very clean and so clozy and the perfect space for our group of 6. The property and outdoor space was spectacular - with all the amenitites we could wish for and then more! We played pickelball, interacted with the farm animals, grilled dinner and enjoyed it on the patio. We lounged on the porch and took long evening walks outside. This place was purely magical!

The house was represented well in the pictures. Appreciated the cleanliness of the house and all areas of the property. The central air and ceiling fans were wonderful and made the house comfortable. Highly Recommend this Hidden Gem

This property impressed us for so many reasons. The home is beautiful, welcoming and had everything we needed. The bedrooms and beds were perfectly decorated and comfortable. There is a real "wow" factor when you arrive at this place. Jim and Jimmisue are great hosts. We loved having the hobby farm animals around, the outdoor fire pit, hot tub and sauna are all perks that we enjoyed during our stay. If you are looking for a happy place to get away for a few days, this is it. Will return when traveling to WA.

Wonderful experience!

This home was everything we needed and so much more! Great kitchen and dining area, comfy beds, fabulous shower and lots of space both inside and out. This house and yard have so much going on that we stayed busy without needing to leave the house. The hosts are top notch, they are quick to respond and super helpful. They were also kind enough to show us around their hobby farm on the property and even taught my daughter how to milk a goat! We were sad to leave and hope to come back in the future.

Wonderful getaway

We booked this on a whim for 2 adults and 3 kids. The house was immaculately clean, organized, and well-appointed. Jimmisue was friendly and available for any questions. The grounds were bursting with activities that were well maintained, we enjoyed the mini-golf, horseshoes, tether ball, basketball, frisbee golf, and many other activities. The sauna and hot tub were evening favorites. There was a spot for outdoor fire but we were too busy enjoying the other amenities to take advantage (next time?). Owners found an item we left behind and sent it back to us promptly, which we were SO appreciative of. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful oasis, looking forward to visiting again

My family of 5 stayed here for a few days to recharge before tackling a house move. The location, house, and hosts couldn't have been more perfect. The house is charming, very clean, with all of our needs considered. It's located on farm land with goats, cows, and chickens nearby which the kids enjoyed seeing and feeding. There's a great hot tub, grill, and back yard where we enjoyed learning how to play croquet. The hosts do live next door (they gave us plenty of privacy) but frankly they're very sweet, helpful, and a joy to speak to when they were around that it's not even a factor. We won't hesitate to stay here again. The only con is that my daughter now wants a goat as a pet. :)

Wonderful getaway just outside of Portland!

We rented Jim and Jimmiesue’s home on their “hobby farm” for a long weekend with our kids and grandkids and were completely blown away by their hospitality! Our grandkids were totally entertained with all the animals and the many activities on the “farm” There is even a mini golf course on the property and a standup PacMan game in the laundry room as well as a number of inside and outside games. It has a wonderful patio, barbecue, hot tub, sauna and fire pit stocked with wood. For a reasonable additional fee, we were able to host a baby shower outside on their wonderful patio. We can’t say enough about the personal attention given by our hosts, who live onsite and were taking the little kids (ages 2 to 10) to feed the goats, chickens, rabbits and cows, as well as on hayrides on a wagon pulled by their small tractor. Jimmiesue and Jim have put together a wonderful getaway with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a very cozy feel throughout the house and one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever rented!

This place is WONDERFUL

My family of 7 (all adults) had the best time. We had a low key, relaxing vacation that allowed us to unwind together. Jim and Jimmisue were wonderful hosts and have truly thought of every tiny amenity that a guest could need. It’s very evident a lot of consideration and experience has gone into this rental. My brother stayed in their new RV on their property to have his own space and he loved it! It was super nice and fancy! The beds were comfy, the location was relaxing, the disc golf was fun, the animals were so cute. We loved everything about this place and we’d love to stay again in the future, THANKS JIM & JIMMISUE!

Vacation 2025

We had a great stay! Jim and Jimmiesue have a beautiful home stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the animals, hammock, mini golf, hot tub, sauna, frisbee golf, and mini golf. They also did a great job returning messages and helping out as needed. The location and neighborhood were great as well. We definitely recommend booking with Jim and Jimmiesue!

We were retired painting contractors looking to downsize without leaving our 5 acre hobby farm so we turned our house into a VRBO. We spend most of our time caring for our animals and tending the gardens. We have enjoyed hosting families from all over the globe and especially teaching the kiddos that food doesn't come from a box.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this farm 23 years ago. What drew us was the fact that the house is in the center of the five acres so we are buffered from the outside world. At the same time we are 2 minutes away from the I 205 and I 5 freeway and a 20 min from the Portland Airport.

What makes this property unique

What really makes this property unique from the other vacation rentals by owner is that we have a Farm Experience for every age. We try to set up the home and out door area according to the needs of each individual guest group. We also live onsite so we can be available to answer questions about the animals, gardens or events in our area.
