I stayed here for 3 months during a summer internship and had a great experience overall! It’s within Austin Pickup’s service zone, so I was able to get free/cheap rides around the area, which was super convenient.Pros:1. The host is incredibly sweet and responsive! I had an issue with my bed and they replaced it quickly, and they were also super helpful when I had mailing issues. Any problem I had was acknowledged and handled right away.2. Fully furnished with pretty much everything I needed for the summer, which made moving in and out super easy.3. The area felt safe! I walked around often, including by myself, and never felt uncomfortable.Cons:1. It’s a bit far from downtown (20 min drive or a long bus ride). Not the host’s fault, but worth noting!2. The lighting is VERY dim/warm. It’s cozy and aesthetic, but not ideal when working from home or when you need brighter lighting.3. The bathroom occasionally had a funky smell that came and went. I could never find the source, so I think it may have been coming through the vent from another unit.4. Uber Eats/DoorDash can be confusing since the unit is through a smaller gate rather than the main entrance, so I had a couple of misdeliveries.5. WiFi was spotty in some areas but still generally workedOverall, it was super homey, comfortable, and a great place to stay for the summer! The host was wonderful and accommodating, and I’d definitely recommend it for a short-term stay.
