This cottage is a beautiful rustic cottage that provides all the comforts you need for the perfect break. Briars's facilities are accessible to our visitors. Sip your coffee on the dock in the morning and stoke the fire at night. One minute walk from our cottage will have your toes in the sand of our private beach.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.
Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

Wrong advertising and very bad communication

Booked this for new years with friends, for its jacuzzi and swimming pool, When we reached it was no where to be found, after contacting property manager several times, he told us it’s not working, No where on listing did it say it’s not working, and property has 4 single beds not 2 king beds, so 1 of us had to sleep on the ground. Very false advertising and extremely bad communication, property manager still hasn’t gotten back to us.

Family getaway

We went for a long weekend with the kids (ages 2 and 3), and we had the "Birdie" cabin. While I expected rustic, this was neglected. The photos and description online didn't really match up to what we arrived to. Luckily, both my husband and I are outfitted for camping in tents and over packed (thank god). Unfortunately, Vrbo doesn't allow for image uploads. I could totally see someone showing up and not at all being prepared for the extra small mini-fridge, tiny sink, list of things to bring that's printed out and given to you upon arrival, and none of the watersports are free. There's no private fire pit and the BBQ lighter doesn't work. There was literally nowhere for us to sit and eat a meal, just some gross couch on the balcony - why wouldn't you put a picnic table there? The wi-fi worked for like 45mins of our entire stay. And the Smart TV they advertised was false. Not that we were there planning to stay inside, but if we had encountered a rainy day with two little toddlers, that would have been miserable. There are bizarre lights all over the property that don't add anything to the experience and would benefit from removing them. It's a gorgeous lakefront view, and that's what people travel there for. The beds were clean, but the pillows hurt to sleep on. I will also say that this area has great beaches for small children - sandy, clean, and shallow. The beach advertised as part of this property is very small, but again, there are other great spots all over town.

Great place and nice view

we enjoyed the stay throughout. had a smooth check-in and check-out process. only disappointment was the indoor pool that comes in the package was unavailable. My son was disappointed that he was unable to use it.
