Blue Salt Gerroa is a luxurious hillside house with spectacular, panoramic, uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean, the Seven Mile Beach and the Crooked River. The house is elevated, being located at one of the highest points in Gerroa, allowing for expansive and extensive sweeping water views in all directions. These views can be seen for miles and miles from two large decks and internally through a very wide 16 metres of glass panels and doors, which open to the decks.
Blue Salt is located within short walking distance (about 7 minutes walk to the beach) of and directly overlooking the famous 12.5 km Seven Mile Beach.
Nothing is so relaxing as watching and listening to the waves rolling in and observing the ebb and flow of the tides and colourful sunrises and sunsets from your own private vantage point. This house with these million dollar views has been referred to as the jewel in Gerroa's crown.

Blue Salt is a private, spacious and luxurious home. It has lovely decor. It is contemporary and elegant in style, having versatile, multi-level living areas. The house has three levels.
Most rooms enjoy postcard views through an extensive and wide glass frontage opening onto two large entertaining decks. There is a wide glass frontage of 16 m. This width of the house enables views to be maximized.
There are two living/lounge rooms and a dining room plus eat in kitchen and two decks with two outdoor dining areas.
There are three bathrooms/ensuites.
There are 4 bedrooms 2 of which are master bedrooms with ensuite, built - in wardrobe and water views. There is a sofa bed in the second lounge/living room with door and bathroom opposite which can be converted to a 5th bedroom at $60 per additional 1 or 2 guests per person per night. This allows for extra guests to come if you wish 9 or 10 guests in total. The sofa bed is locked and cannot be used if extra people are not booked. If less than 8 are booked but the sofa bed is required, the bed must be requested for $60 to cover extra cleaner's fees.

The house has a north-south aspect rather than west, making the deck and house, combined with ocean breezes, cool in summer and means you can sit comfortably on the deck at dusk when you want to relax. The wood burner creates warmth and atmosphere in winter. Wood is provided June-August. The house is equipped for all seasons.
The house is set amongst trees and greenery in a natural sub- tropical rainforest attracting a varied and colourful bird life.
From the upper deck you can watch the water views and enjoy colourful sunsets, accompanied by outdoor dining and cooking on the BBQ.
In winter enjoy the same view from inside huddled around the wood burner fire place with your glass of local red wine.
Blue Salt, only 90 minutes from Sydney, enables you to easily experience all that this quaint village of Gerroa and it's surrounds has to offer. Just a short distance further from Canberra. And Melbourne a little further again.
Parking - The garage can house two cars - one large car and one small car. Internal access from garage to house. The private driveway has space for two more cars.
HOUSE ACCESS - Access details are provided 2 days prior to check-in via private email. Normally the house can be accessed between 2 pm on check-in day and 10 am on check-out day. These hours can be extended 2 days prior to arrival with the access details email subject to approval by the owner and only if there is no back to back booking on the day of arrival or departure.
MINIMUM STAYS
All Long Weekends can only be a 3day block booking, excepting Easter, Christmas and New Year period and January School Holidays which are a 4 or 5day block booking minimum.
All other bookings are a 2day minimum stay.

I love the sea and this is why I chose this house. Like most people I am very busy. I come to visit Blue Salt to get away from the everyday lifestyle and to encounter the beauty and serenity that this house and setting offers. The house is elegant and relaxing with all that I need for a seaside escape. I hope my guests have this experience when they come here to enter another world.
Why they chose this property
We chose this house because of the spectacular view of the ocean, beach and river and the proximity to the beach and river for swimming, canoeing, fishing and surfing. We also chose the house because of it's open plan layout, its 3 floors and the 16 metre glass sliding doors and glass panels that allow the view into the house. The house is very appealing. The wood burner transforms winter - making the house warm and providing lots of ambiance.
What makes this property unique
Blue Salt to me is a very relaxing and beautiful place to come to. It is special to me and is my little corner of the world where I can escape the pressures of life. For hours on end I can just sit on my balcony and watch and listen to all that is happening by the sea. The house is modern and appealing. The wall of glass makes the house very special for bringing the view into the house. When down on the beach you can spot Blue Salt because of it's very wide spread of glass. You can watch your older children at the beach from the balcony. Binoculars help but aren't necessary. I watch my 15 yo twins without having to be at the beach with them.
