2 hours south of Sydney is situated on Gerroa headland, unique in that you can watch both the sun rise over the farm and ocean and the sun set over the mountains and ocean.
Panoramic, breathtaking, uninterrupted ocean views surround the house. The rear of the house overlooks Shelley Beach and farmland. The garden deck with fire pit is a magic place to sit and be surrounded by spectacular views. Roast marshmallows over the fire or just sit and take in the views. Whales, dolphins, sea and birdlife abound. When present, the cows on the farm are a special treat. The front view takes in Seven Mile Beach, Black Head, the Crooked River and Berry Escarpment. The moon, stars and storms at sea, provide spectacular light shows over the ocean. The perfect place for relaxation.
We regularly receive texts from guests on arrival, with the common theme of being "blown away" by the views and location as well as the Guests Welcome pack. Most guests leave us a note on departure, saying..."amazing, stunning, refreshed, inspired, thanks so much, can't wait till we come back...."

Not only is the view and location stunning but the house is contemporary stylish and architecturally designed to bring the light, countryside and ocean to the inside. Every room has spectacular water views. The upstairs open planned kitchen/ dining/ sitting room is a very spacious room with 2 lounges ( one for TV viewing and one to watch the ocean) and a dining room table for 10. A gas log fireplace overlooking the ocean is a perfect retreat for colder weather. The kitchen has European appliances and a 4 metre stone benchtop. From this bench you can cook gourmet meals while taking in the views over 7 Mile Beach , the Crooked River and Shelley Beach. Electronic blinds throughout the house make lying in bed in the morning a dream.

Frameless glass balustrades enclose the rear and front upper decks to give uninterrupted views.The north facing rear windows bathe the house in light and warmth in winter. Downstairs the flooring is polished concrete, while upstair is stained tallow wood.

Three large luxurious bedrooms, each with water views and ensuite make this a perfect retreat for 3 couples.
The master bedroom's ensuite includes a bath that overlooks the ocean. The Master bedroom, has its own Gas Log Fireplace and private sitting room with uninterrupted views over the ocean and farmland.
The second bedroom has a kingsize bed that can be converted to 2 king single beds while the front downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed.
The downstairs 4th bedroom /sitting room is separated from bedroom 2 by floor to ceiling frosted glass doors. Guests staying in this bedroom share either the ensuites in bedroom 2 or 3. This area has 2 single beds 2 recliner chairs and a daybed and kitchenette all of which have a magnificent view over the farm and ocean.
An outdoor hot and cold shower overlooks Shelley Beach.

Elanora Gerroa is family friendly. Two porta cots and a high chair are available as well as a stair gate (if required.) A selection of surfboards, fishing gear, beach towels, books, DVD's, games, Nespresso Coffee machine (including pods) and T2 teas are provided. The backyard provides plenty of room for family fun.
Ducted Air conditioning , electronic blinds, as well as two gas log fires provide year round comfort.
In November 2017 Elanora had a major renovations, with new decks, larger windows, electronic blinds, new bathrooms and kitchen.
A garden deck and fire pit for our guests enjoyment was completed in November 2018.
The Master Bedroom had a private sitting room with its own gas log fire place and floor to ceiling glass added in 2020.

Elanora is the local Aboriginal Wodi Wodi peoples name for "Home by the Sea". We know that guests will find this their dream holiday by the sea and we are confident that it will exceed their expectations.

RATES - the nightly rate is based on 6 guests. Additional guests (up to a max 8 guests) incur a nightly surcharge of $70/person.

- Downstairs King bedroom has more spectacular views and an ensuite and walk in Wardrobe. The King bed can be converted to 2 King single beds. Frosted glass doors open into a bedroom /sitting room with a daybed. The sitting room accommodates 2 single beds.

-Downstairs front queen bedroom has ensuite, walk in wardrobe, and TV/DVD.

-Upstairs is very spacious open planned and includes:
Sitting area with magnificent ocean views, perfect for whale, bird and surf watching.
-Gas log fireplace overlooking the ocean.

Media area has TV/DVD/CD/ipod Dock, Netflix. A selection of DVDs and CDs are available.
Dining area has a Refrectory style dining table seats 10 and has great views along 7 Mile Beach,Crooked River and the Berry Escarpment.
The Gourmet Kitchen has all modern appliances, extensive range of cookware plus cooking ingredients. Nespresso coffee machine [with pods] and T2 teas.

3 outside Decks take in the views, and provide choices for outside enjoyment dependent on the prevailing weather. Even in winter, summer conditions can be experienced on the north facing back decks. The spacious rear lower deck has a barbeque and uninterrupted ocean views over 3 local surf breaks.

Things to Do.

-Rest and relax in the peaceful surroundings.

- Watch the whales from May to November. 28 sightings in one day is the record for Elanora.

-Go surfing, swimming, fishing, windsurfing or walking on Seven Mile Beach.

-Take a surf lesson.

- Go swimming, fishing or kayaking in the warm waters of the Crooked River.

-Snorkel the rock platforms.

-Catch a whiting, bream or flathead from the beach. Master catching a beach worm.

-Play golf at the Gerringong Golf Course that overlooks Walker's Beach, 3 minutes from Elanora.

- Enjoy the spectacular coastal walk from Gerringong to Kiama. Other walks are to be found in the Minamurra Rainforest, Barren Grounds, Drawing Room Rocks ,Saddleback Mountain lookout, and our favourite, walking along Seven Mile Beach.
-Sit by the fireplace, whilst reading a book, drinking coffee or wine and watch the waves off Shelley Beach.

-Visit Jamberoo family fun Park.

-Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, Historic Berry, Kiama or the Southern Highlands offer enjoyable day trips.

-Visit local wineries, cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs.
