THIS PROPERTY IS ONE OF TWO (LOCATED SIDE BY SIDE) THAT CAN BE RENTED TOGETHER FOR UP TO 10 PEOPLE. SEE ALSO 'DIAMOND ISLAND RETREAT'.

This is the ideal beach getaway. It enjoys wonderful views over Diamond Island and the Little Penguin rookery that makes Bicheno a magnet to so many interstate and overseas visitors.

As one of our guests said, "This is where memories are made" be it family/friends or couples. This is the place to relax and do nothing or make it action-packed...

Diamond Island Retreat Too is a two bedroom cottage consisting of a queen bed in one room and single beds (a trundle makes the fifth bed) in the other.

A large open designed kitchen/lounge/dining is ideal for families. Relax and watch TV (large DVD selection is available) or enjoy family board games of an evening or maybe you'd like to sit out on the deck and do some star gazing (the night sky is stunning here).

Maybe you'd like to cook outdoors on the gas BBQ and enjoy a few quite wines from the many local vineyards.

Daytime will see you out and about, beach, fishing, surfing, golf, sailing & swimming are all at hand as this cottage is virtually waterfront. Our beach (accessed via Gordon St) has some of the whitest sands and bluest water rivalling the best beaches of the world.

Wallabies delighted us each night in the field in front; the accommodation is comfortable, bright, well equipped, modern with a good view to the island and ocean. We really enjoyed ourselves here. In the top 2 of the 6 places we stayed in TAS.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the property is amazing and being able to hear the sea while sipping your coffee in the morning was such a highlight. Rooms were well configured and it was child friendly.

Thanks for pointing out the photo that shows the wood heater. This pic has now been removed and replaced by ducted heating and air conditioning which is far safer and a lot cleaner. We are thrilled that you have enjoyed your stay.

Amazing family Getaway

We had a wonderful family getaway at Diamond Island Retreat Too! The view is spectacular and the home has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is close to many amazing beaches, national parks and Bicheno Town centre. No wifi as per prior reviews, but mobile coverage was fine (Vodafone and Optus). Thanks Brad & Kate for your quick responses and being so accommodating.

Wonderful stay

This property had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and functional. The view from the deck was lovely, overlooking the water. It was quiet and had lots of space for the children to run around. They provided games, DVDs etc. Location is great, just a short drive to the town centre, jetty to see the penguins etc. I would recommend staying here. Communication was also excellent.

Good place for a break

We found the house very comfortable in a lovely setting overlooking Cod Rock/Diamond Island Nature Reserve, which we unfortunately couldn't conveniently get to. I couldn't work the internet, but by making my phone a hot spot, I could work around that. There may have been a possum on or in the roof the last few nights we were there. We would return if the opportunity arose.

Perfect for a family holiday.

We had a comfortable 2 night stay at this lovely 2 bedroom cottage. It is well set up for families with the fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The view to Diamond Island was lovely. We enjoyed walking on Redbill Beach and visited Natureworld, the Blowhole and were thrilled to see the little penguins.

Could not have asked for a more simple and pleasant experience, Kate and Brad had clear and precise instructions, easy to follow and communication was not an issue, the cottage was marvellous, well presented, and had spectacular morning and evening views on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean and tidy with everything provided to make our stay as comfy as possible. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a fantastic getaway in our favourite town of Bicheno.

Lovely all around

The property is superbly located up from the northern end of Redbill beach, near Cod Rock. The vista itself is worth everything. The property was clean and in good condition. All amenities worked well and we would not hesitate to return. Keep in mind the property does not offer internet so if that is needed BYOD. Hosts Brad and Kate were very good and responsive in their communications.
