About this property
Wonderful cabin on Fightingtown Creek, sleeps 8
Still Waters has just completed a complete kitchen remodel with high end appliances and beautiful granite countertops. 2 private bedrooms on the main level that each have queen beds. The master bedroom has a connected bath and the 2nd full bath, also on the main level, has a whirlpool tub. 2 bedroom lofts above each main floor bedroom have either a queen or a king size bed. Luxurious bedding and linens are in each. Ample decks outside allow everyone to spread out. The backyard is flat, perfect for children. Hot tub, porch swing, grill, fire pit, tree swing and a deck over the River complete the outdoor amenities.
Right below the covered porch is a HUGE deck with a relaxing hot tub, Adirondack chairs, and a patio table with umbrella. The deck overlooks ~200 feet of Fightingtown Creek and there is a dock right on the creek that's perfect for swimming, tubing, and fishing.
A fire pit for marshmallow roasting and s'more making under the stars.
Easy access road and driveway with no need for 4 wheel drive. Just 10 miles from downtown Blue Ridge which has lots of shopping and restaurants, including Mercier orchards. Close to the Ocoee white water center, rafting, tubing, horseback riding, hiking, and waterfalls. North Georgia at its best! Many fun things to enjoy nearby; however, the cabin is secluded on nearly 1 1/2 acres for privacy with no cabins across the creek. Still Waters is a perfect place to feel away from it all while being close to everything that the North Georgia mountains have to offer!
Update - unfortunately we lost our rope swing tree in the last storm.

Cabin was perfect for a mother daughter weekend. The view from the back porch overlooking the creek definitely provides a serene vibe. Thank you Nathan for also providing us with a later checkout since we were having such a great time!
Loved that the cabin was off the beaten path but only took about 10-15 minutes to get to town. The porch is great with plenty of seating. The view of the creek is beautiful. Inside is nice and the space is well appointed with seating and everything you need to cook. Would definitely recommend! We had a great time!
Our cabin stay was perfection with everyone having exactly what they needed for rest and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The kids had the best time in the creek and exploring the property and the adults were able to relax on the back deck and fire pit. The cabin was so cozy, clean and perfect for a fall get away. We will be back next year for sure!!
The cabin is very nice and has a great porch facing the creek. It is on a rural gravel road, but was very easy to access in my small suv. It was the perfect size for a four person girls weekend. Good location in relation to Blue Ridge!
The cabin was perfect! It’s a true blue ridge cabin, we loved fishing everyday on the creek, hot tub at night and super close to downtown BR. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely rent again
This cabin was perfect for our family, younger children loved the loft bedrooms while older child had privacy of the down stairs room. After spending a day in and around town we looked forward to returning each day to the comfort of this cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed for our week.
Absolutely loved the location. On the creek. Relaxing and quiet. Very very secluded. Wonderful to listen to the creek while drinking coffee in the morning. Later on, in the hot tub and again listen to the creek.

About the host

Throughout the years, staying in a cabin in the mountains is one of our family's favorite ways to vacation. We've been to North Carolina in the past, but this year decided to try the North Georgia mountains. In the spring of 2016, we ended up staying at a cabin about a mile away from Still Waters and immediately fell in love with the area. Our kids had a blast fishing, swimming, and tubing in the cool waters of Fightingtown creek. We loved horseback riding, hiking, and checking out the waterfalls nearby. The people in the area are the best and the quaintness of the Blue Ridge so welcoming.
When the opportunity to purchase Still Waters came up, we immediately jumped on it! Our primary driver was to share our love for the area with as many people as possible and we sincerely hope that you will love Still Waters and the North Georgia area as much as we do.
