Escape the hustle and bustle of the more crowded areas of the Gold Coast and Tweed where you will find the unique town of Pottsville Beach. Centrally located in the middle of Byron Bay and Coolangatta.

Enjoy some of the best; surfing and fishing spots, picnics along the creek, local markets and local cafés just to name a few.

This coastal-luxe inspired modern 3-bedroom duplex is located in a quiet beachside street. Sleeps 6; 2 x single beds or queen convertible in bed 2, queen bed in bedroom 1, new automatic queen size in bed 3.

The property also features; 2-bathrooms with 3-vanities and 2-toilets, enclosed backyard with covered entertainment area for that added space of outdoor living, established tropical gardens, plenty of play area for the kids, outdoor shower, unlimited WIFI and near new kitchen to entertain in with Bosch appliances.

Don't leave your pets at home, bring them along! The grounds are secured with a 1.8m high colorbond fence and lockable rear and side gates.

Garage not for guest use as it's too narrow to park in. Parking available on driveway (x 2 standard cars), and, roadside.

Black Rocks Beach is a 1.3km walk, (see main photo). There's also a safe cycleway to get there for pets and kids).
Mooball creek (you can swim, kayak, etc) is 200m walk (see photo).
Byron Bay is a 35min drive.
Pottsville Tavern (they also have a courtesy bus) is a 1.3km walk as is the bakery, Foodworks, bottle shop, Potty Mouth Pizza and chemist.
The IGA, bottle shops, cafes, restaurants, markets and all other facilities are located in and around Elizabeth Street which is a 2.1km walk.
Hastings Point is a 5.6km drive.
Cabarita Beach is a 7.6km drive, (see photo). Woolworths is there along with many other shops, restaurants and The Beachbar Bistro.
Kingscliff is a 15km drive. Kingscliff is the largest town before you get to Tweed City and Coolangatta.

The perfect property!

An incredible house in such a lovely location. Walking distance from the grocery shops, take-out restaurants, bus stop and the beach. We loved our stay here, the facilities were great and had everything we needed and more, not to mention the ongoing help we received from the home owner in the months coming up to our stay and on arrival. She was ready to help at all times of the day.

Relaxing stay in a very comfortable residence

Our host Kris, was extremely helpful with pre & post stay communication - happy to recommend restaurants and activities prior to our stay giving us time to pre-book during peak holiday time. The home was spotless and covid related items all readily available - thank you. Kris had left us very thoughtful ingredients for fun holiday cocktails - very yummy & another thank you from us! Very comfortable stay, aircon & fans (Yay), beautiful new kitchen & all the gear available to cook up a storm should you wish. Lovely landscaped back yard which we & our dog enjoyed. Location was great for us, quiet street but close enough to the action - beach, shops etc We had a great stay - thanks again.

We are appreciated to stayed there, love the walking with puppies to close beach only 15 mins and we had a lots of enjoyed and lots of laughter! It is fantastic have a cheeky 3 puppies in the house! We expected feedback to choose any bedroom there been a not cleaning floor under the beds before we arrived and found out from our of one puppies ate something and also difficult to find a few items in the kitchen we needs.

A really lovely place. Very calm and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Well located for creek and beach and nice walks. The house was a cool calm escspe from the midday heat with everything needed to cook/bbq for the family. Kirsty the host very kindly left us a christmas hamper of nice wine and a christmas tree.

Our family of 5 + our Labrador ‘Willy’ thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pottsville. The unit was clean and tidy, with comfy beds. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring all on offer at Pottsville. Perfect for a peaceful break

We had a lovely stay in Pottsville at Kristy's place. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay (the only thing was BYO sheets!) We loved being able to bring our dog along, and we found the area to be very peaceful - walks along the river and the dog beach were so pleasant. Thank you so much!

An awesome stay

Kristy left no stone unturned when it came to making us feel welcome. It was Easter and when we arrived there were beautiful chocolates on the table and a lovely little note welcoming us. She also had our favourite drinks in the fridge. Hubby certainly appreciated a beer after such a long drive. The accommodation was really lovely and very clean. The rooms are spacious and airy. Kristy could not have been more helpful, even giving us a late checkout. We certainly recommend you staying here if you are looking for accommodation in the area.

The house is well situated within walking distance of the river lovely area to just relax

The house was perfect, it had a lovely undercover outdoor area where we spent hours having our meals, chatting, reading and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you need, the bedrooms all had fans and where comfortable and the bathroom where lovely and modern. The lounge had tv and wii which was great fun. The trampoline was used daily. On our arrival Kristy had left us a beautiful platter of yummy snacks she had also put up a Christmas tree for us to put our presents under and very sweetly left presents for us to enjoy. This is the perfect home to get away and relax with the family and furry children. Definitely will be on our return list.

Fantastic place to stay

I really enjoyed my week long holiday at Listen to the Ocean. This property has all the necessities to have a relaxing, comfortable and pleasant stay. The property is clean and the amenities are excellent. I really liked that my little dog had a secure back yard to stay whilst I toured around the area. Thank you also for the prompt and clear instructions on booking Listen to the Ocean and the lovely treats on my arrival...they were thoroughly enjoyed.

Close to Beach

We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse as w could walk to the main street and beach. Very close to the entrance of the estuary so water was usually clear and very inviting. Great for children to ride their bikes as all is flat and well paved.
