The Amish Cabin was originally a Corn Crib, built in the mid 1800's in Ohio, before being rebuilt into a very beautiful and unique Timber and hand hewn peg Cabin using the original timber, here on site at the ranch. It is a favorite, with our guests. TheKitchenette is furnished with dishes, hot plate, microwave , small fridge and a coffee pot. Sit back in an old fashion rocking chair with your favorite beverage on your private back porch overlooking wildlife areas. Great for bird watching with lots of deer and other wildlife passing through. This cabin is so private and quiet you will think you are really remote, while being very close to both Fredericksburg and Kerrville. This ranch has plenty of wildlife and birds to keep you looking outside for what you might see next. Wolf Creek is a working horse ranch and home to Kerri April, a Master Happy Horse Happy Life Natural Horsemanship Professional. We have a pony pasture for you to interact with the ranch miniature horses, Rowdy and Smokey along with the petting goats, Goaty and Rosie. Enjoy your private outdoor patio with a grill for a bbq. We also have an outdoor swimming pool, that is shared with our other guests, an outdoor fire pit and walking trails to the catch and release fishing pond. Nights are beautiful here with a magnificent night sky. The stars are stunning and seem so close that you could reach out and touch them.

We loved staying at the Wolf Creek guest ranch! It was close enough to town that it was only a short 20-minute drive to get to the main Fredericksburg attractions, yet secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery and certainly all the wildlife! Would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Fredericksburg. Just bring a book or a board game because you will not have access to a TV or WiFi in the Amish Sunrise room, but for us that was part of the charm.

Autumn was a great guest to have here at the ranch. She left everything clean and tidy.
Was secluded and very quiet. Great views of wildlife and honestly the best stay in 15+ years of going to Fredericksburg. Would recommend to any and all!

Description is misleading, but still nice.
Both me and my neighbor felt duped upon arrival and realizing the cabin was split into 2 areas to make it a duplex. This was also evident in reviewing what i bought by several other in thier reviews. It is a nice place with nice people but just needs better described. It was a surprise to try to open the door next to my headboard and hear someone on the other side say that its thier bathroom.... Overall it juat was not private and could hear everything from the other couple. Views from this cabin are very limited in comparison to the area with a retro gas lamp on all night to pollute the stars. The petting zoo I will leave to others. There is a good size tank with a canoe which seems very hard to find. The entry here is awesome for biking. The pool is nice but shared with others in a not so inviting set up. The cabin was cute, quaint and clean, stayed cool qnd the bed was nice and soft. All the little things were there like a hotel would have like soaps and water and the such. Even the "kitchenette" was like a hotel, no stovetop.
Awesome place to get away for the weekend. Cabin was perfect for 2 people. Beautifully done. Gorgeous Hill country views all around. Very Quiet and peaceful. Loved watching the deer feed from the front porch. Kerri (property owner) is very friendly and helpful . We will definitely come back!!

Carey and his wife were so great to have here on the ranch. So friendly and thoughtful. I hope that they will come back again.
Kerri was awesome and super accommodating. We loved our cabin, the wildlife was gorgeous, and we had fun in Fredericksburg. It was our 20th anniversary and the screen-free quality time together was fabulous! Definitely going back.
I really enjoyed my downtime at this venue. The drive in to the property offers very nice views. The cabin where I stayed is split into two sections, but I was the only guest there for the duration of my stay. I spent much of my time on the back porch, which overlooked the grassy hilltop. I had a couple of visits from members of the little deer family that roamed the property, including one with a spotted fawn that couldn't have been more than two feet tall. The walk down to the pond was a treat; the deer were joined there by a group of ducks probably too small to qualify as a flock. Although I'm not much for fishing, I was told that it's stocked for catch and release. The proprietors were very nice, even bringing me dinner and dessert one night of my stay. If you're looking for a place to get away from the busyness of the day-to-day, while still being close enough to Fredericksburg to do all the wine tours and antiquing you want, this spot is a great option.
Amazing place. loved the Cabin, view and the property. Best place I have stayed at in a long time. I would pick this place again over any hotel in the area.
We loved the quiet weekend in the country! We enjoyed the lake, goats and mini ponies (fed them and played with them), and the shops of Fredericksburg. We did share a cabin with another couple, HOWEVER your spaces are separated so that you still have your privacy. Our space was separated by 2 locked doors so we really only heard the footsteps of the other couple and never felt like either group was bothered by noise. Hoping we get the chance to stay again in the near future!
The cabin was just as advertised. My wife and I enjoyed the simple amenities, tasteful and warm decor, very comfortable bedding, beautiful and quiet setting, and yoga and sit-ups in the worship reception room. I highly recommend if looking for a quiet, tv free getaway.
We were very happy with our stay. Loved the little cabin we stayed in. Clean, comfortable bed & very quiet . Loved seeing the deer everywhere. Very nice relaxing weekend. I would definitely stay here again !!

The cabin was nice however a few hiccups. We had no key to the room so we could not lock our room, we didn’t feel like our things were secure so we ended up packing our important items when we left each time. I suppose it could be 2 separate space but in all reality this cabin should be advertised and rented as a 2 bedroom cabin for a group or couples. Rooming with another couple we didn’t know was extremely uncomfortable. It truly is a two bedroom cabin. The tub was great though!
