About this property
Embers of Landers Shoot
5 separate rooms connected by timber walkways.
The main living area has a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and an outdoor shower. Outdoor dining table with seating for 14 and large verandah with comfy lounges for relaxing & chatting.
The Frangipani Room is connected to the main house and shares the bathroom. It has a Queen Bed, and private access.
The Lavender Room has a queen bed , a single bed. and ensuite and deck with views overlooking dams and giant figs.
The 'Bordeaux' has a king bed and ensuite. It has a private entrance and views overlooking dams and giant fig.
The 'Rainforest Retreat' has a king bed and 2 single sofa beds. It has a huge circular bath with views of the rainforest and outdoor kitchenette and private verandah. There is a private entrance.
The 'Bunk Room' has 2 single over double beds with single trundles under (sleeps 8). It is connected to the main living area by timber walkways.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. Coffee pods provided.
Linen, towels and basic toiletries are supplied.
There is a plunge pool.
Open fire pit and outdoor barbeque next to the main house.
No need to bring basics such as cling wrap, alfoil and baking paper. There is also a supply of salt, pepper, flour and Marshmallows
The beautiful beaches of Cotton Tree, Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are 25 minutes away.
40 minutes to the beaches and award winning restaurants of Noosa.
A 15 minute drive will take you to the rolling hills and fabulous waterfalls of the lush Sunshine Coast and the quaint villages of Montville, Maleny, Flaxton and Mapleton where you'll find galleries, antiques, great dining and views over the Sunshine Coast.
The whole property is available for rent on a nightly basis (min 2 nights).
Please no large wedding/event enquiries as we have neighbours close by with young children
We built Embers over the last 20 years, starting out with a caravan and some old timber from the cattle yards. Our home has been used for photo shoots, special occasions and featured in the Sunshine Coast Daily's '7 Amazing Stays on the Sunshine Coast' - 8 September 2016.
Our home is a series of prefabricated cabins designed by Peter and built by Glendale Homes, who he has worked with for over 30 years. We are very pleased to be able to share our home with others and hope that the memories you create here are as fond to you as the the ones we have created with our family.

Peter & I moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1980
Why they chose this property
Dear friends/neighbours of ours purchased 36 Roys Rd in 1999 and when we came to see their new place, fell in love with 38 and became neighbours again!
My eldest Son often jokes how he was worried when we bought the place as it was a 'bit of a swamp' (you couldn't see over the grass). We were ready for a tree change and a challenge and always enjoyed the peaceful township of Palmwoods so made the move to Landers Shoot. Our children are adults so wewanted to develop our home in a way that could be enjoyed by multiple families and different generations. All our children have contributed to the space in many ways and it has become a sanctuary to not only us, but our family as well.

What makes this property unique
It's hard to describe the unique benefits. More than anything, this is a place where memories are created. It's a human friendly, outdoor focused space connected to the environment in a way that fosters fun, connection & conversation. We enjoy fabulous views over the property, pool, gardens, giant figs and a large dam. There is ample shade in Summer and plenty of Sun in winter. If your stress levels don't go down here you should probably see a doctor:-)
