This property was the perfect location for our extended family Girl's Weekend. There was so much space for us to spread out over so even though there was 15 of us we never felt crowded. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were luxurious. Whether relaxing by the pool and spa or lounging on the verandahs with the beautiful views it was a perfect way for us women to connect. I would highly recommend this property for any large family or friend group holidays.
This was for a ladies retreat, the location was perfect, there was no distractions from the outside world, there was enough space inside and outside for all of us. The pool and spa were amazing! The beds were so comfortable it was lovely, highly recommended.
A wonderful location for our writing retreat. Plenty of space to get lots of work done and have private areas to relax and sleep. Pool and spa were great and house easily accommodated 9-11 of us. Already thinking of booking again next year.?
We absolutely loved everything about our stay!! The house was incredible, it’s in the most beautiful serene setting, everything you could want is available on the property and it’s close to so many wonderful things. The hosts have really made a slice of paradise there. Would definitely recommend 😁
Our large family could not have chosen a better venue for a significant birthday celebration. The Old Sugar Mill is a superb, spacious, spotlessly clean & well equipped property with beautiful grounds and all ages are thoughtfully catered for. Gorgeous views
The property had everything required for our family group to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay. The hosts had thought of everything and even provided snacks for us. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The pool and spa were both extremely welcome for the youngsters. Waking to the sound of birds in this beautiful rural setting was such a delight. We would certainly highly recommend Old Sugar Mill.
Great spot close to shops and activities but house great to hang out in with the pool, spa and great yard. The house fitted us all in which is great with our numbers.Only thing oven not working so made it very hard at dinner time as all meals we prepared ourselves.Bbq wasn’t clean but we sorted n the spa wasn’t clean we needed to add chemicalsNot enough bins for general waste but overall very happy with our stay
There were 16 of us, ranging from 8 to 80, plus a dog, for each this property accommodated us all perfectly. The amenities were satisfactory; the kitchen was well equipped and the pantry was generously stocked. The outside space suited vigorous play for the youngsters and dog. Above all the upstairs deck was the place to be; spacious and relaxing. The mischief of magpies provided interest. Our hosts, Mel and Nick, were readily available for any queries, but never otherwise seen. A friendly and hospitable couple. The property is well located for access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. All together, strongly recommended.
My family planned a holiday away, including 11 adults, 2 teenagers and 9 children ranging from 14months to 9years and the Sugar Mill was a perfect place for us to be altogether. Plenty of room to come together, but also have a breather, the yard perfect for backyard cricket and soccer. Mel thought of extras which was perfect including cricket and bowling set, xbox, books, board games. A well set up place where we just had to show up with food and drink and we were set. Location was a good mix of open space and quiet, but close enough to attractions that we were at within 30 mins. We had a fantastic week. Thank you
