Melbourne has the largest tram system in the world, which makes it very easy to get to any location around the city. Nearest tram stop is only two blocks away. Groceries, restaurants, and beautiful parks are all an easy walk. The unit has everything you need. Anne and Peter are wonderful people and were very helpful. We would stay there again.

very nice property-excellent location- really outstanding
This was and is one of our very best experiences in a HomeAway property. Most of our HomeAway experiences have been very good - this was excellent. There was nothing not as advertised. Everything worked. It is close to good restaurants, close to transportation and not far to walk to the downtown area. It was very hot in Melbourne a few days when we were there, the reading material in the shelves was both varied and extensive, so we were able to fare well despite staying in to use the air-conditioning. We will be delighted to stay there again.

The apartment looks very much like the pictures, it is warm, cozy and feels like a home. The beds are comfy, the linens lovely, and the kitchen well stocked, both in terms of equipment (perhaps a new bread knife?) as well as the condiments and basic food stock. The apartment has a wonderful feeling of space and light.
The neighbourhood is an interesting one, perhaps it is almost inner city? or city edge? with the density that that implies. Despite being just a block away from Smith Street, which is quite busy, the street itself is fairly quiet. There are some fabulous places to eat and drink (coffee and wine!) within a 5 minute walk, as is the tram to the city. It's a great location from which to tour greater Melbourne.
Of importance to me, as I was staying on my own in unfamiliar surroundings, was the excellent garage and building security.
Anne was a wonderful host, always quick to reply and very helpful in every way.
I wholeheartedly recommend the apartment and will definitely return!

Gorgeous apartment!
Our family were 'wowed' about how roomy and lovely this apartment was - spacious and clean with everything provided. Beautiful bathroom with spa bath that we enjoyed, as well as a great DVD collection, books and appliances - something for everyone.
Perfect location close to Smith Street and trams, we made the most of the cafes and shops in the area but it was also handy to catch a quick tram trip to the city or walk to Brunswick Street.
Great communication with Anne who kept in regular contact with us to ensure we had no concerns upon arrival & during our stay.
We had a wonderful family stay in this apartment and hope to come back again very soon.

Fabulous Central Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Collingwood Warehouse apartment. The hosts were wonderful and the apartment a sheer delight for our family of 3. The apartment is clean and tidy and extremely comfortable. A very quiet location despite being so close to the bustling Smith Street and its array of some of Melbourne's great restaurants - all a very short stroll away. The apartment is an easy tram ride or 15 min walk to the Paris end of town through the Fitzroy and Treasury gardens. For those exploring further afield, it is also a quick jump onto the Eastern or Monash freeways. We loved it so much we are coming back for Christmas.

Awesome!!
This apartment was just lovely. Spacious and super clean, it was such a great place to stay. we loved the cafe just up the street and went there every morning for coffee. Smith street is very close and we felt very comfortable navigating the city and neighborhood. Anne and Peter were great to work with and it is clear that they really love their apartment! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

More than we expected!
Our family had a brilliant week long stay in this beautiful apartment. The hosts are most generous with all that they provide to ensure that you feel that you are in a home away from home (a tastefully decorated one at that). The location provided us with a true local experience and the ease of walking one block to the high street to catch a tram suited us perfectly. Whilst we loved dining out at the eclectic array of restaurants near by, the very well stocked kitchen made dining in a pleasure. We delighted in watching several movies from the hosts "Blockbuster" worthy movie library and flicking through their extensive selection of reading material. Our expectations were surpassed to say the least!

Stunning property
We were in Melbourne for work for 5 days and found this apartment on Stayz. It is a lovely apartment, beautifully designed and very comfortable. Spa bath, tons of light comes in through the huge windows and very, very comfortable beds. There is everything you need to do your own meals or it is a 3 minute walk to the fantastic restaurants and shops on Smith Street - and Messina which we visited several times! After long training days it was wonderful to come back to the apartment and feel like you were on a holiday. And so much better value than staying in a hotel. Can't wait to stay again.
