Very clean; everything working; great location
Great stay in Fremantle
We had an awesome time in Fremantle and Alison the owner was great. The apartment was clean and had a fantastic location. Would definitely stay again
Great little spot close to everything.
A small, clean apartment with everything needed. Close to local shops and cafes. Would highly recommend.
A very convenient location with all Necessary amenity for a medium to longer stay in Fremantle. A comfortable well equipped flat for two.
Great location and cute little apartment
Would recommend this place. Its a cute little place. Bed was comfy and huge tv. Great location and secure parking. Only disappointing things were the shower hot cold hot cold and not alot of pressure and mold on roof and the 2 flights of stairs but there is a lift but you still have to use the stairs to get to it. There was also a lot of noise from the neighbours above and road noise.
My plumber attended immediately after I received this review and made a minor adjustment to the gas instant hot water system. Such a shame Aimee didn't advise me during her stay, however I am thrilled she loved the comfy bed, the fantastic inner city location and secure parking for her car.
The centre of Fremantle is just a 2 minute walk away with the bus and train station at the end of the cappuccino strip.
Catch either of the 2 free CAT buses which loop around Fremantle - simply jump on/off at all the major tourist attractions. The blue CAT bus stop is across the road from the apartment and will take you to South Fremantle and our wonderful South Beach.
A few things to see and do in Fremantle:
The oldest building still standing in Western Australia today is the twelve-sided Roundhouse. The first permanent building to have been built in the Swan River Colony in the late 1830s, this building offers stunning views over Bathers Beach and the Indian Ocean.
Holding a fascinating history built as a high-security prison by convicts, the Fremantle Prison is one of Western Australia’s most significant cultural attractions. Opened to the public in 1992, this building has since offered tours that will take you through the chambers and the history of this icon.
Fremantle Arts Centre
Originally built as a ‘lunatic’ asylum in Western Australia, the Fremantle Arts Centre offers residencies, exhibitions, live music and art courses for locals and tourists.
Fremantle’s legendary ‘Cappuccino Strip’ offers many outdoor cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy a locally brewed beer or Western Australian wine whilst people-watching.
Dating back to 1897, the Fremantle Markets have always served as a market, originating as a wholesale and produce market until the 1950s.
Fremantle has Western Australia's largest collection of heritage listed buildings. Its relaxed outdoor lifestyle and often perfect weather offer visitors and locals alike some great alfresco dining options. Fremantle, with a population of over 25,000 people, is one of the most popular destinations for holiday accommodation in Australia. Fremantle plays host to ever popular events like the Fremantle Festival and Falls Festival. The stunning Rottnest Island is only a 30km ferry ride to the west!
