The home is close enough to the beach and local sites to walk to, easy location for deliveries. The home was the perfect size for our group, and exceptionally clean. The owners were immediately accessible by text, everything was perfect for a weekend getaway with no worries! Would definitely stay here again!

Beach-a-rific

We were originally surprised by the unusual layout-like a bathroom with three doors-but it turned out to be a very functional set-up. The dine in kitchen was small and exceedingly well laid out. We did breakfast and lunch in everyday with our family of 5 and it was easy to cook and enjoyable to dine in. The laundry room is really nice. And it's super close to the beach, Pleasure Pier, and a ton of restaurants.

We loved the location and setup of the house, however the on-line pictures were very deceiving. There were multiple rooms with holes and damaged walls, the kitchen ceiling was cracked heavily, and the kitchen table was falling apart. The outdoor patio furniture was extremely rusty and one of the chairs cut my wife's leg.

Really enjoyed the quick trip down for the weekend to spend in Galveston. Place is located in a great spot, easy to get to the sea wall, Pleasure Pier, ect. Quick responses to all communication, would stay there again.

Galveston Comfort

Great location, clean and comfortable. Everything anyone could possibly need for a long weekend with out-of-state friends. This house provided plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 service dog. The fenced yard was great for all of us to spend a little time outside on the private patio. Friendly and safe neighborhood with lots to see and do within walking distance, even for those with mobility limitations. The thoughtful management even provides bikes, wagon and boards for your beach trip 2 blocks away. Would recommend this place with confidence to anyone!

Great Location

This is a great location within walking distance to the beach and they even had a wagon to help with getting all of your towels, boogie boards, and coolers there. Kitchen was perfect size for our family and although the house is smaller, it had plenty of space for us all to spread out. We will definitely be back!

Loved staying here. Super clean. Great location. It had everything we needed. It did say to use black towels for make up and there weren't any, so I had get facial wipes. It wasn't a big deal though. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to stay in galveston.

Long weekend

Comfortable house with easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice activity add-ons especially the haunted tour. We could have used a few more towels since there were 5 of us and some extra pillows and bedding for the fold-out couch. Everything else was great! I would definitely recommend this house for any family.

Great place

Excellent location, especially if you have teens. It is located across the street from a park with gym, tennis courts, skate park, etc. Also a dog park is located there. In addition, it is a short walk to seawall beaches, pleasure pier, and places to eat. The house had 2 bicycles, and a wagon filled with everything one needs for the beach. Only issues were unmowed grass in front yard which was probably due to recent hurricane and no outside hose to rinse off sand. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

Everything you need

We frequently stay at many of the houses on this street, hosted by Itrip. Winter is always a pleasure to deal with and is super responsive to any needs. The Sabadeco house (front house) has everything you need for a comfortable stay! It’s 1 block to the beach, so it’s an easy walk and there is a vendor you can rent chairs and an umbrella from at the closest beach. Nearby to everything!

I was nervous on check in day because I didn’t see email with check in information (it was sent a couple days earlier but went to spam) and wasn’t in app messages. At first couldn’t reach manager who was on plane but then she responded and sent me what I needed. She immediately offered other complementary tickets for entertainment and was even able to offer us a very helpful and much appreciated late checkout. House itself is great. Loved location in walking distance of great restaurants, Ohana Surf camp my son was doing, etc. I would definitely stay again!

Good location. House needs a lot of repair and maintenance. Front landscaping overgrown very badly, dead reaches inside upon arrival, light bulbs out, tv remote not working because batteries are corroded. Overall house is in poor condition which is common among these beachouse rentals. These typical owners know very little about rental properties and only want to collect revenue but not spend money to properly maintain the property.

Typical old beach house, reservation mishap

The property was well enough; we had difficulty with the check in process. When I booked on Vrbo, I booked the front house, and all the check in information I received was for the front house. When we arrived, there was a family already inside the front house. I called in to the host, they loooked up my reservation and confirmed it was for the front house and they would have to call me back. They called me back, apologizing profusely and told me this never happens. They asked me if I was fine staying in the back house because it is pretty much the same space. After driving all day and arriving after sundown, I was in no position to argue and it really set the tone. My code wouldn't work on the back house front door, I called in, they reset and it still didnt work. We tried one last time then when that didn't work, they gave me the backup code, which seemed a little sketch to me because it wasn't a personal code. Upon entering the house, it is your typical old beach house, but one concern that is worth looking into, the walkway to get to the back house is overgrown and not the most friendly to luggage. A bit of plant management here would go a long way. I will say it was absolutely wonderful having the host be responsive when we did have this issue arise and do all they could to remedy quickly. I have not had that same experience with Vacasa booking.
