Great location, convenient to beaches, downtown, restaurants, shopping and entertainment, licensed vacation rental. Comfortably furnished (some antiques), formal dining room, breakfast area, living room, carport, washer/dryer, refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove with electric oven, microwave. Fenced yard. Fully outfitted kitchen including blender, toaster, coffee maker and grinder. Linens provided.

Ocean Springs is a quaint bedroom community with unique shops, good restaurants, talented artists and artesians and fun events year round. The Walter Anderson Musuem of Art is a must see for all ages. Shearwater Pottery another. Events include: The Herb Fest, A Taste of Ocean Springs, Renisance Festival, Peter Anderson Festival, Cruisin' the Coast. just to name a few. The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center offers live theater, a variety of classes including acrylics, pottery, drawing, cooking, etc..


The Ocean Springs/Biloxi bridge has a walking lane which offers spectacular views of the shoreline and Gulf of Mexico. Just a short distance across the bridge you will find casinos, the Ohr-O'Keefe Musuem, charter fishing, Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, tours to Ship Island and much more.

Approximately 90 miles to New Orleans and 50 miles to Mobile, day trips to these historic cities are easy and fun.

Our climate is friendly making this a great place to winter.

The host was very welcoming. The house was clean, for the most part, and comfortable. Entering the home upon arrival was stress free. The bath tub, however, was either very dirty or rusted. The bathroom also had holes in the walls that had been puttied and left unpainted. The blankets in the living room had animal hair that got on our clothes. The detergent used for bedding was not free and clear of scents and allergens. Our family is all leaving with a cough due to allergies. I would highly suggest anticipating the possibility of guest with allergies, by using free and clear detergent, going forward. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Private and peaceful

I came here to reset my life after experiencing several losses in a short period of time. I needed a break, some solitude and warm weather. I got all three - the weather started off crazy with about 8 inches of snow on the ground when I woke up - but since I'm from Michigan, I just figured it was following me and it was gone in a couple of days. A really historic event but no one's fault for sure. The hostess was attentive and gracious and took care of every need. Having a fenced yard for my dog was great and the house was comfortable and well stocked. I highly recommend this place - close enough to all the action like night life in Biloxi - 5 minutes away or close to the artsy like in downtown Ocean Springs also 5 minutes away and yet you are in a neighborhood setting with each access to the daily living stuff like pharmacies and convenience stores.

Clean and Comfortable

The home is very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. Had some issues with wifi but it was due to expired info being left at the cottage. However, the owner responded very quickly and resolved it. Our only complaint would be the bathroom. I would think it would be the first thing you renovate for renting your place as a vacation rental. The tub had black mold in the caulk, there was mold on the ceiling, the shower curtain rod and the ceiling light fixtures were rusted. There also wasn't an exhaust fan in this very small bathroom... Lastly, it is close to train tracks and they run all night. We woukd stay again but I hope finishing the bathroom is on the agenda!

In our humid environment we do experience mildew in wet areas such as bathrooms. It appears that our housekeeper missed addressing this when cleaning. We have resolved the issue and thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Wonderful visit to ocean springs

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. Our dog enjoyed the yard. It was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. Sue was a very good host.

Gulf Vacay

Me, my boyfriend, and our 2 pretty large dogs stayed here for 3 nights. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you need is within a few mins. It is very close to the Gulf Coast National Seashore and Ocean Springs East Beach. East Beach is small but quiet and not crowded. The entire yard is fenced in so it was perfect for us with with dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is nice. Well kept clean when we arrived with a small supply of start up items. Toilet paper, paper towels, and a few spices. Some bottled water. Any problems that came up were quickly addressed and taken care of by the owner. Dan and Lynn Visger

The cottage is very well supplied with everything you will need and the location was excellent. We were close enough to go over to Biloxi for the beaches and historical sites and the neighborhood was quiet. We plan to try and book next year

Cute Cottage

this is a great little cottage! This trip was suppose to be for me and my husband but at the last he couldn't go- so me and my friend went- everything was clean and comfy! Had everything you needed and then some! Quiet neighborhood and close to the beach and a short drive to the casinos! The owner was very nice and I really enjoyed talking with her on the phone! I would rent this again! Thank you Sue for sharing your cottage with us! We didn't want to leave- lol

The stay

The home was very nice and comfortable. It was close to the beaches and fishing. We had a great time at the home even though the rain came a couple days during our stay. We did have an issue with u- verse a couple of times but I think it was due to weather. Also seen a couple of bugs but that was no big deal either. We would love to come back and stay at the cottage again in the future.

Exactly as advertised. A great weekend in Ocean Springs.

My husband and I traveled to Ocean Springs from Chattanooga, Tn for a weekend in March. We make all natural skin products and participated in the Ocean Springs Herb and Garden Festival. The Linda Cottage was clean and exactly as it is described. We brought our bicycles with us. We found a map of bicycle routes in the information folder provided. It was very convenient getting around town on the bikes. I would definitely stay here again.

Got Dogs?? This place is clean and perfect!!

My girlfriend and I were wanting to take a last minute trip to the beach but also wanted to bring our dogs. We found this place that turned out to be per friendly and great for us and the dogs! We contacted Sue and she was so accommodating and helpful for whatever it was we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a house in a neat town that close to the beach!

Perfect!

Our family was relocating to Ocean Springs, and we needed a place to stay while house hunting. This home away was perfect for our needs. The location was great for getting to know the area, visiting the beaches, and all our sightseeing desires! The house is very clean, nicely decorated, pet friendly, and appointed with all the things we needed for an extended stay. The owner was welcoming and helpful with all of our questions about the home and area. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Ocean Springs is a great town for shopping and eating out, and it is convenient to travel to all Gulf Coast events. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is coming to the Ocean Springs-Biloxi area.

Linda's Cottage

During our stay here we found Ocean Springs an ideal location for exploring the gulf coast area, as well as a beautiful place to visit. Our stay at Linda's Cottage was a very pleasant experience which added to our stay. Located in a quiet neigborhood, centrally located, we found the accommodations meeting our every need. Listing of amenities and other information are exactly what we found upon arrival. Owner was available for any assistance we would need. We will not hesitate to book another stay at this location.

Linda Cottage

This is a nice little place to stay for a weekend in Ocean Springs. We came for the "Cruisin the Coast" carshow. The house is in a good location; it was about 5 minutes from our destination. The house is clean and it has a big fenced in yard. I wouldn't mind renting it again next year. The owner was very nice.
