Other nearby attractions include Jewel Cave (5 minutes), Cape Leeuwin Naturaliste Park, Augusta (15 minutes), Margaret River (30 minutes). Ideally situated for exploring the best the Margaret River Region has to offer.

A visit to Hamelin Bay retreat

Beautiful setting close to Hamelin Bay beach.Enjoyed a wander around Karridale Cemetery. A visit to Augusta town, surrounds, lighthouse and fish and chips at the boat harbour make for an enjoyable visit.

Hamlin bay

Needs coffee table in lounge the bed frame and base is very substandard every time you move it makes a very loud squeak and the grass needs mowing and a mirror next to the hand basin for shaving would be helpful not worth the money for wot we paid

Lovely clean and peaceful

Lovely peaceful and very clean property. The owner obviously cares about this property and cares about creating a lovely space for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Close to Augusta for those looking to check out the region. We loved it and definitely recommend. Also love the DVD collection! Thanks so much for having us at this lovely property.

Beautiful couples getaway

Amazing location and stay. Chalet probably missing one or two essentials like baking paper and oil for cooking and the hot water to the shower only lasts a couple of minutes but aside from that a perfect weekend retreat!

Great Spot !

While the stairs were a little daunting at first, the result was well worth it as the Hamelin Bay Retreat felt like a tree-house and was absolutely beautiful.

Not so private

Very close to neighbouring residence, it did not feel very private. Promoted as couple’s getaway suggest you may look at provided glass ware only 1 champagne flute. Sparse furnashings a coffee table in the lounge would have been good. People book in these places to observe the wildlife in the trees, no birdlife due to in place deterrents, plastic owl and fishing line. Damaged back screen door due to only inside lock. Free to air TV may be a consideration.

Small retreat

Lovely litlle property withall mod cons.drive way can get a bit hazardous for a small car due to sand. Close to hamlin bay cozy corner and augusta. Loved the extrawildlife in bathroom mainly ants. Had a great time.

Hamelin Bay

Hamelin Bay Retreat was ok. I feel it needed to be a little more cosy. A little coffee table would have been nice and maybe a bigger sofa. Had problems with the TV, worked one night, not the next. The steps were a challenge as well. Would not stay more then 2 nights.
