The Surf House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the first floor of The Beach Pad. Perfect for groups and families, this home comes with a private gated yard, outdoor grill and shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the breezy enclosed marquesina (patio area), with two hammocks. Birds will serenade you in the morning and coquis will greet you every night! The rooftop deck has views of the waves at Sandy Beach and the surrounding dense, lush greenery.

The Beach Pad is the only property in the Sandy Beach area that has solar and a commercial grade generator, 2 backup sources of power, in an effort to ensure our guests’ comfort during the frequent power outages in Puntas.

COVID Update: Those visiting Puerto Rico should review the local measures in place, developed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), such as social distancing, mandatory face coverings in public areas, and mandates for businesses. Travelers entering the island may have to provide the following forms upon arrival: a Travel Declaration Form, a vaccination card, or negative PCR molecular or antigen COVID-19 test results.

We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, above and beyond CDC recommendations, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Our new cleaning protocol includes, but is not limited to: masks worn by cleaning staff, hand sanitizer provided in every room, and additional sterilization of high-touch areas like door knobs and handles. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community.

Noise level warning: The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental property surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars in the center of Puntas. It is conveniently located and during high season (Dec-April) and holiday weekends you may hear live bands or DJs until midnight on weekdays and much later on weekends. All other times of the year you will find it to be much quieter. If you are looking for an extremely quiet, away from it all location, this may not be your best choice.

From August through October some restaurants and bars close for the season or have limited hours. There are still plenty of restaurants open year-round and you can always check with us, or your digital guidebook to find out what is open!

Clean Rooms and Great Location

Great Rincon Stay

Great place to stay when in Rincon. Easy in and out access. Place has everything you need while there. Location is great, only downside is the music at night from a local bar can be heard. If you're tired from a long day out in the sun then the music won't matter. We will stay again.

The house is in a great location. You are able to walk to many resteraunts and shops. We had a group of four people and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The owners are very responsive to any of you needs. We will be back!

Surf House

Great location. Everything is within walking distance. Everything else is a short drive away. Highly recommended. We lost power, but they had a backup generator, which came on very quickly. Will definitely return.

Great & Beautiful Home!

I came to Rincon for a “guys surf trip” with my son, brother and eldest nephew. This house was perfect for us I’m every sense of the word. Great proximity to Sandy’s, Pools & Parking lots and a short drive (less than 5 minutes” to the other popular breaks. Walking distance to multiple dining places and great coffee. Our place was equipped with everything we needed and enjoyed the hammocks as well as the rooftop. I highly recommend.

Great House and Great Location

This house was a great property for myself, my husband and two other couples we stayed with. We had the lower part of the house that we shared with one couple, and the other couple rented one of the middle units upstairs. When the whole gang got together (10 in total) we were able to comfortably eat outside on the picnic table. It was a great time and everyone enjoyed the house! Thanks!

The Perfect Pad for Us.

My husband and I, along with our 16-year-old son and his friend, stayed at The Beach Pad. We were there for a Spring Break surfing trip. The Beach House had EVERYTHING we could possibly need/want for our vacation, including beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, ice chest, and snorkel gear! The location was great. The little neighborhood was really sweet and felt very safe. We enjoyed being able to walk to several different places to eat in town, and the house itself was great. It was perfectly clean and looked like the online photos. We stayed in downstairs unit -3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms- and never heard the upstairs guests. I hope to stay there again in the future. La Isla del encanto!

Week of sun, fun, and laughs

I stayed at Eileen and Alan's property with my fiancé and friends for just under a week. It was one friend's birthday and the hosts kindly decorated the space with a birthday sign and balloons. It was so sweet and greatly appreciated! The house has four beds total across three rooms and two bathrooms. House is well equipped with kitchen needs (spices, pots, pans, etc) as well as beach necessities (towels, an umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler - though the handle was broken, and a beach wagon). Beds are comfortable and extra pillows and blankets are available. AC was a luxury in the heat and humidity we experienced. We did have to reach out to the hosts for extra kitchen towels as we prepared many meals at home, they were quick to respond and delivered additional towels the next day. The location is amazing! A short 2 min walk to Sandy Beach or about 10-15 minute drive to other beaches in the area. Please check the water/wave conditions before going to beaches - especially Sandy Beach. Rip currents are known to be present. Would definitely go back again! Had a blast and loved the area. One of the best vacations and stays I've had in a while. Thanks so much!

Great getaway trip!

We are a family of four, with 20-year-old twins. We were in PR visiting family and took a few days to go to Rincon. We had a very nice time at Surf House. The pictures and information are accurate. Note that there are several units in the property, and Surf House is on the ground floor. There is not an ocean view, but the floors above might have one. In any case, the walk to the beach is only about five minutes, and there are several good bars and restaurants nearby, within walking distance. As you can see from the photos/map, there is a restaurant/bar just next door called Big Kahuna. We did not have any issues with noise, and it was handy having a place so close. It's about a ten-minute lovely drive to the town of Rincon, and there are good places to stop along the way. All in all, it's a great place to stay and chill out for a few days on the Road to Happiness!

Excellent Visit

This was one of our best experiences while visiting Rincon - everything was easy from start to finish. We stayed in the Surf House - ground level unit and it was perfect. The yard is yours, you have a separate area with a grill and outside shower and then the enclosed patio with hammocks was used a lot! The kitchen is perfectly equipped as well. The location is great - easy walk to the beach (the house also has all beach gear you need!), to restaurants and to shops. We thank you so much for sharing your house and we plan to come back ASAP!
