This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we love it! Kangaroos coming through the garden in the mornings, beautiful veranda to have your morning coffee and watch the world go by, lovely warm fire for the cold nights and such a homely cozy feel! Cant wait for more family holidays here!
We stayed in this beautifully presented cottage over the Easter weekend. The area was tranquil and offered the adults the serenity we needed. Whilst the children enjoyed their Easter egg hunt in the surrounding garden. Yallingup is delightful... visiting the aquarium for swimming and watching the sunset whilst sat upon the canal rocks. Simply beautiful
We were allI so impressed with this cottage. The photos don’t do it the justice it deserves. It is so quaint and tastefully decorated. It appears to be freshly painted and was very clean. We were welcomed by the local kangaroos on arrival. It was lovely to see that the cottage has so many amenities included like towels, linen, a fully equiped kitchen and loads of board games - which we had a ball taking advantage of. I would highly recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this beautiful cottage and the grounds it sits upon.
The description of the cottage was misleading in that it is quite a small cottage with limited natural light. The cupboards/drawers were quite grubby. Probably overpriced for what it was and I found the Cape Executive Holiday Property Team very unhelpful and quite aggressive when there was an issue with departure that I had not been aware of

The description and photo's are exactly as the Cottage is.
The staff at Cape Executive Holiday Properties were not aggressive or unhelpful in any dealings, an excessive amount of time was spent following up final payment that wasn't settled until the day before arrival.
The the damage deposit was claimed pending invoices for:
1. the spa having to be de-greased, water dumped, refilled and balanced which is on top of the usual service call after a guest.
2. Replacement of hired linen that had been used to stop a blood nose of a family member that was already sick prior to staying at the property, but chose to still stay. These items were left for the cleaners to dispose of, which is disgusting.
You were not aware of these issues as you had left the property two days earlier and only your children stayed for the last 2 nights.
Had a fantastic time at this property. A very quiet and peaceful location that was still close enough to everything you needed without having to travel more than 15 min to get groceries. There was only 2 downsides the first is that the cooking dishes/ glasses provided weren't as clean as they should have been. We did need to clean a handful of items prior to use as they were still greasy from someone else's use (we don't hold this against the property it was just our experience) The mattress in the studio is also starting to sink into the middle so regardless if you like to sleep in the middle or not you will be. The house it's self is lovely we would all come back and stay again. The outlook from the deck is peaceful and very relaxing our family spent a lot of time on the deck on the couches and chairs provided.
Was a very nice place to stay, great location, very peaceful, everything you needed. Had a hiccup with Keys for check in, but was corrected pretty quickly. Would recommend to others and hope to return ourselves.

Cape to cape
Property great but the communication before arriving and during the stay is intimidating as so many rules and agreements above the norm. Enjoyed our stay in the end though lead up stressful.
Beautiful spot and very well appointed for a short stay. Comfortable beds with nice fluffy doonas and pillows. Great having the little studio for the grandparents. Nice to sit on the veranda and take on the bush sounds with the frogs and birdsong. The kids definitely enjoyed the hot tub.
Excellent property for a mid week stay during the July school holidays. Loved the separate studio, which was perfect for our friends who don't have children! Very well stocked holiday house!
Stayed at the property for a wedding on Sunday, house was so comfortable and location was close to everything but far enough away that you thought you were in your own little world. View from back verandah was so beautiful. Thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who is contemplating staying in Yallingup 😊
We loved this cottage and how cosy we felt. The wood fire was lovely when it was raining. We loved sitting on the verandah with a cup of tea, watching the kids play out in the field. The pillows were a bit too fat/high for my kids heads and my head though, I'd consider offering some fat and thin options perhaps?

Lost points due to key situation
We had a great time in a most excellent and comfortable environment. The pictures were all true and the spa terrific. Once we arrived at our holiday home all was perfect.
However the person who told me getting the key "was only 5 minutes up the road" was a bit of a fibber!
The office to get the key from is 20 minutes away! So there and back is 40 minutes. Then you are expected to do the same again when you finish your stay. So there is one hour and twenty minutes of your holiday gone. Not to mention the fine of $XX per hour if said key is not returned by 10:00 o’clock in the morning. Perhaps not so bad if you go through the town of Dunsborough but we came from the opposite direction.
In this day and age, has anyone thought of a lockbox?
We would all love to return but this key situation is very off putting.
110% for everything else.
