Ideal for short or long breaks. Open plan living areas, Kitchen, dining room and lounge. 3 Bedrooms, queen beds in two bedrooms, and the third has 2 singles suitable for kids.
Great to entertain on the Alfresco covered deck which leads to a large patio, and BBQ area surrounding your private pool and lawn. Barbeque and Sun loungers make it a great family area. Being a traditional single story/low set Queenslander style home it does have that older vintage feel with an eclectic look, some original interior elements remain and some have been updated. Such as bathroom guest loo, laundry and kitchen.
The huge pool is very old and dated, the water is sparkling and the system is salt water 💦 making it lovely to swim in, with a quiet filter system to make your stay more comfortable. The pool has had an old paint job many years ago which didn’t improve its looks. It makes up for this with its size and most of our guests enjoy it, it’s perfect for the kids with a large platform step at one end, perfect shallow section. It’s a seasonal pool without heating so summer it’s great to swim in, but chilly in winter. It’s at its best in a sunny day. We get plenty of sunshine here on the Gold Coast
Access to the cottage: a slightly sloped, single but long driveway as pictured and 3 steps up to door, a step out to veranda, a single step into lounge. A mix and match of original and new features are part of the charm.
It’s not a modern clinical looking home, it’s got heaps of character and charm, and a very homely but uncluttered feel. UNO provided too! Your host is experienced and will ensure that the place is spotless and fully equipped for your comfort and convenience.

This property is not suitable for school leavers/Hens/Bucks/Parties/Events or Birthday parties - noise must be kept to a minimum. No noise after 9pm. Can be used by confirmed guests only. Additional visitors are not permitted without prior approval from the owner.

This is a Strictly No smoking inside this home!! Smoking is only permitted outside and away from the house, we do not permit smoking on the undercover Veranda.
We strictly apply our no events/schoolies etc policy. Please do not inquire if this is your intention - no exceptions are made to this policy. Our neighbors will call us if you make noise. Eviction is guaranteed.
Please leave the cottage clean and tidy in similar condition to how you found it. Wipe down spills, and surfaces ensure dishwasher is on. Empty bins. Follow check out guidelines. The exit clean only covers 2.5 hours for cleaning anything above that will be charged for. The exit clean and professional laundry fees do not include: extra cleaning, weekly cleaning, professional laundry fees for stained linen and or towels, or cleaning up after pets. If cottage is not similar to how you found it, charges will apply. Longer bookings will be charged an extra cleaning fee to cover at least 2.5 hours over an above our normal exit clean fee. The photos may include items that have since been updated, such as furnishings, replaced items due to damage etc.
Minimum Age of primary guest making the booking is 25. Only guests included in the booking may stay at the premises.
This is a family neighbourhood, it’s generally quiet, however we cannot control activities on neighbouring properties. We do not accept late check ins after 7.30pm.

We update our rates regularly according to seasonal demand, your booking is subject to confirmation of rates with owner. Pets need prior approval, so please do not book without that prior consent. When bringing your pets you are agreeing to our pet terms, failure to follow these will result in extra charges. A small pet surcharge applies, you need to select this during the booking process.
Clean up after your shedding dogs. We reinstate the property 100% spotlessly clean for our non pet owning guests. We therefore ask you to thoroughly clean up from your pets. This is a minimum requirement. Pets are accepted only with prior arrangement with owner. Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture this is strictly applied. Clean up daily after your pets around the garden, to avoid issues and hefty fees, as this is a service we do not offer, and a call out fee and hourly charge will be applied if you leave this unattended. Report damage immediately, charges will apply if your pet has damaged our property.
Please check availability on our calendar as we do not accept bookings that leave gaps between bookings less than our minimum nights. Christmas and New year have minimum of 6 nights, no gaps between, and no check in or check out on public holidays over this Christmas period.
We do have a neighbouring property if this one isn't available we are happy to offer the other one if your dates are free all bookings will be processed through VRBO/Homeaway/Stayz we don’t take bookings outside of these platforms. House was centrally located. Easy walk to shopping centres. Totally pet friendly. Clean as a whistle. Well stocked with everything that we needed for a lovely relaxing stay.
Our second visit was as good as our first! The cottage has become our “trusted” place to stay on the Gold Coast. After a number of bad experiences, we come back here because we know it will be clean, enjoyable and Karen is brilliant to deal with. We’ve also grown to love the area too.

Karen was very accommodating the place was lovely and clean. Very quiet neighbourhood and central to everything in the area the pool was a bonus. There was even a welcome pack with bread, tea, coffee, butter & milk. Would definitely stay again.

The most perfect home away from home! My husband, son and & I spent 9 nights at this cute little cottage. Fabulous communication from the moment we booked to the day we left. The little extras of the welcome gifts was much appreciated. Comfy beds & very spacious. Easy to get to and from the theme parks and other attractions. Shopping centre close by. We loved the fact it had a pool which we used almost daily! We will definitely keep this property in mind for future travels to the GC!
This was the perfect little cottage for us! Pool was a favourite for me and swam most days. The outside area was fabulous for bbq and beers while our boys enjoyed the pool. Bed’s comfy and house clean. Thanks for all the little extras too!

Everything was perfect,good little dog area,the kids braved the pool ,maybe more blanketsas it was cold but we had bought our own ,nice and close to everything.

Home from home - completely! We have tried to think of everything that you might need. You are independent, each home is completely detached, with own driveway, and small gardens. There might be cheaper options out there but they rarely compete with the value for money we offer.
