While the overall rating of this property looks quite good, there are issues to share. The gentleman who lives below loves to blast the volume on his television sound bar and it reverberates throughout the condo late into the night. He also is a smoker and has a loud, hacking cough which is clearly heard upstairs. There were consistent issues with the television dropping the cable and having to restart, sometimes as many as six times in a one-hour show. During our 8-week stay there, we lost electricity for several hours (no storm or obvious reason), water for an all-day servicing of some kind by the condo company, and an unresolved dispute about parking. There were repair issues that should have been attended to but were not.
Having noted these things, the property manager and his assistant were very responsive, kind and professional in all instances.
The owner, on the other hand, has chosen not to refund an appropriate amount when medical reasons caused us to leave the property earlier than planned and paid for. Careful consideration was given to inform of our early leaving so new rentals could be booked. In spite of that, more than 70% of our rental fee was kept by the owner. It is hard to imagine a human being with such a lack of empathy.
