About this property
Honeybee House - Tropical Retreat on Acreage
Honeybee House is a fully furnished and self-contained holiday home at Speewah, less than a 10 minute drive from the rainforest village of Kuranda in Tropical North Queensland.
We offer guests a quiet retreat in a comfortable two bedroom house on 5 acres of tropical gardens and rainforest.
The house will sleep a maximum of 4 guests in two queen size beds. There is also a wood burning combustion heater in the lounge/dining area, which will ensure your comfort in the colder months of the year (June to August).
The nearest swimming pool from Honeybee House is at the Speewah Tavern, just a couple of minutes drive away. This is a good place for dinner when you do not feel like cooking.
There is also the Kuranda Aquatic Centre at 262 Myola Road, Kuranda.
Kuranda is surrounded by World Heritage listed wet tropics rainforest with approximately 1,200 species of flowering plants, 800 of which are rainforest trees.
