The Clyde River Retreat is surrounded on all sides by State Forest and National Park, kilometres from the nearest neighbours (other than the native wildlife) it is a perfect place to get away from it all.
With over half a kilometre of river frontage, the retreat is perfect for fishing or swimming in the Clyde river, bush-walking in the local forests, or for use as a launching point for exploring the surrounding national parks.

A special place to stay where we could bring all our family - including our labrador. We enjoyed our stay and the chance to see the upper Clyde River. Joanne and Ross are thoughtful hosts and have a unique off grid retreat. We will be back.
The property was exactly what we were looking for. The nature you're immersed in is wonderful. Ross went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and were confident with the detours on the roads due to the recent weather. Joanne even gifted us some herbs from the vege patch. Will definitely go again.
We arrive via the long and winding clay roads to a welcoming host and beautiful scenery. This with marvellous hospitality create an inspiring holiday.
Note: Cabin is open plan and takes a long time to heat up. Plenty of blankets to keep warm with.
