Apartment 3 - The Coachhouse

Thanks for your review Valerie. since you have stayed with us, we have increased the number of apartments that are available to have a holiday in. You are right, the Coachhouse is incredibly convenient for public transport and the stores are very close. We look forward to seeing you again the next time you want a beachfront holiday again.

Thanks for the review Hayley, it really is a remarkable spot to stay. I knew that you would appreciate the private fenced yard with 3 small children. The ease of getting to the beach just straight through our backyard gate is fantastic and now the weather is warmer the life guards are just outside on the beach. It is a shame that you didn't see the whales and dolphins that were here last week, with a few guests watching them from the backyard. We would love to host you again the next time that you want a beachfront getaway.

Thanks Eric It was great to host your family. Given your trip to the cold climes, a relaxing stay on the beach before you departed was probably just what you needed. The weather was great while you were here, so it was ideal in the water and on the sand and the grassy back yard. Hi Lynn Thanks for your review and staying with us. It really is a special location. I think that you mentioned seeing the whales offshore in front of our place, from the back yard, which overlooks the ocean and beach. At dusk and dawn we get lots of dolphins swimming right in front getting their meal. Over the few days that you spent with us the ocean tides had a large surge, which it does on occasion, which occasionally eats into the sand dunes, making it more difficult to go into the water. For a couple of days during your stay, most of the beaches in Sydney were closed due to very high tides caused by an offshore storm and the full moon.. the beaches are now back to a more normal state. We would love for you to return and spend more time with us, now that these unusual tidal conditions have gone back to normal... Unfortunately we do not have any control over the weather or ocean and I know that the next time that you stay with us your access to the water will be easier. Parking is generally not a problem, however when you were staying with us over the long weekend and school holidays, combined with an Australia wide soccer tournament down the road; the whole Northern Beaches had an enormous influx of people visiting the area and so parking was a bit more challenging than usual.. one of the drawbacks of living in a city of over 5 Million people who are on a spring long weekend holiday, combined with interstate and overseas visitors. A great advantage of our property is the ability to go to one of two ocean pools at either end of the beach, which I hope you had the ability to take advantage of while being with us and not wanting to go into the surf. We would love to host you again, the next time you want to get away from the countryside and visit our beachfront location. Kind Regards Robert
