COCONUTS - Absolute Beachfront home in Hydeaway Bay

Our absolute beachfront home Coconuts is now available for you to rest and relax. Ideal for couples, families, or the intrepid traveller to recharge your batteries in this hidden sanctuary. Our stunning home is located on the beach, simply step out the back door and follow the private path to the stunning beach. Stroll along the beach, snorkel, or dive out front and enjoy the many wonders Hideaway has to offer.
Hideaway Bay is located 35mins from Airlie Beach and 30mins from Proserpine. It is best to stock up on groceries before you arrive or Woolworths online will deliver to the area. There is a small general store both at the Hideaway Bay Caravan Park and Dingo Beach pub.
We have ample space for boys with toys on the property.
Boat ramp facilities are available at Dingo Beach (5 mins away)

Cape Gloucester Eco Resort is famous for its Sunday live music sessions and boasts a resort approx. 5 mins away -take your bathers and enjoy a cocktail or 2
Dingo beach hotel is also 5 mins away and usually have live music every Saturday night and a great Sunday lunch.

If you are wanting to explore The Whitsundays in greater depth, please talk to me and my reputable contact can book any of the tours offered in town, and with a discount!

Pool is above ground so please No glass, NO diving, NO sitting on sides of pool - it is there for your 'cooling off' pleasure.

What a great spot

This house was perfect for our 3 generations holidaying together and was very well equipped and comfortable. We loved having our own walkway onto the beach with table and chairs for our sunset drinks.

This house has everything you need and more! It’s right on the beach which is the perfect way to spend your day. The property also has a large pool and beautiful deck which allows for a nice breeze. I will definitely be recommending this home to friends.

We enjoyed our stay in Hideaway Bay. Coconuts was a very spacious house with great functioning kitchen,nice bathrooms & comfy bed. It was lovely having a quiet beach just virtually out the back door. Would have loved a sun lounge to lie on but we were very grateful for the use of the house beach towels. Couple of things needing follow up. No working lights at front door steps, light for one bedside lamp & one fire alarm needs a check.

Perfect Hideaway

The location and presentation of Coconuts was outstanding. Inside and out was spacious and well appointed. Technology was there if we needed it but all the essentials including some basic cooking items were a friendly touch. We had a private track to the beach and barely saw anyone all week - just what we wanted! The only challenge (as a fishing family) was having to drive 40 mins to Airlie for an all tide boat ramp - the one at Dingo Beach is great but only available two or three hours either side of high tide.

Great Location but an interesting start

The location was amazing and the actual house was great but unfortunately from the start I’ve been left disappointed. We checked in at 2pm only to find one of the bedrooms was no made at all. We called up and was told someone would come round and sort out. 3 hours later the bedroom was made and cleaner said she had left extra towels but I walked into the master bedroom with no towels. So my wife and I had to share a towel with one of our friends. The bbq was not cleaned fat everywhere. The actual house was amazing but not again

I have to say very disappointed your leaving a review like this when the problem was rectified very quickly with one of my cleaners doing an after hour callout. When I talked to you on the phone, you were very happy and extremely grateful. Stayz have also tried contacting you a few times about the extra guests that you had stay and i approved at the last minute which you still haven’t paid for .Extra cleaning charges also incurred because of sand and rubbish left throughout the house . I will not be recommending you and certainly won’t be welcoming you when you hear back.

Serenity at its best! Perfect getaway!

A lot of the time what you see online is not what you see when you get there! Absolutely not the case with Coconuts at Hydeaway Bay! A stunning 3 bedroom house with everything you can think of including massive flat screen TV's in every room with netflix! The house was immaculately presented and clean and the location is ideal, with no back fence, the beach is your back yard! Glorious beach which we practically had all to ourselves. A short drive to Gloucester Bay and Dingo Beach for just as beautiful beaches though a few more visitors in both those areas. Hydeaway Bay is North Queensland's best kept secret and Coconuts is the perfect holiday home for a break away to unwind and relax. The host Teena was fantastic through the entire booking and up to our stay, a really great experience and lovely to deal with. I cannot recommend more highly that you're doing yourself a favour by staying in this fabulous very well appointed home!

First visit to Hideaway Bay

This was our first trip to the Whitsundays and I am so glad we decided to choose Hideaway Bay. Teena’s house is spectacular, better than photos, extremely clean and has everything you need. We will be back.
