Are you ready for sixties nostalgia? Our 2-bed, 1-bath cottage has an eclectic, retro style all its own. Just 500 steps to the our Lake Michigan access point, and backyard hiking access to Silver Lake Dunes State Park, our cottage is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our neighborhood is at the North West corner of the Silver Lake Dunes ORV Park.

Artsy décor, and furnishings, and an electric blue kitchen welcome you inside, while a deck and pergola provide comfortable outdoor dining.

If you’re in the mood for a day trip, check out the nearby historic town of Ludington.

Great Getaway

Rhele's Roost provided a cozy getaway for me and my family over Labor Day. Erick is a terrific host and Rhele's Roost is situated in beautiful lakeside neighborhood with stunning views of Lake Michigan and Sliver Lake Dunes just down the street! Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay. Erick welcomed us with nothing but kindness. The home is well-cared for inside and out. It is cozy but never felt small or cramped. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and really enjoyed lounging on the patio and around the campfire. There are neighbors but you would never know; there is plenty of privacy. There is also beach and dune access from walking distance so you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Lake Michigan. You can also get into town within 10 minutes to enjoy all that Silver Lake has to offer. We would stay here again anytime and want to thank Erick for such an amazing stay!

Great property for vacation!

The house was clean and comfortable- just as described in the listing. We enjoyed the amenities such as a/c, wifi, and the patio. Location was great for beautiful walks to Lake Michigan. The dune lovers in our family could leave to hang out on the sand, while the beach lovers could walk to the dunes beach to play, then get picked up for a ride home, to Whippy Dip or the Chicken Shack. The driveway had just enough room for our truck, jeep, and 24’ (total length) trailer.

Great accommodations!!!

This place is a wonderful place to stay. The decor is so cute. There’s everything you’ll need to be comfortable. Erick is a great host and really accommodating. The location is nice and the kids will enjoy exploring the dunes up the hill in the back yard. You can’t go wrong booking Rhele’s Roost.

Why they chose this property

I met Rhele, the original owner in the summer of 2019. We hit it off right away and from that moment, I knew that I wanted the cottage for myself.

The cottage is small but incredibly roomy. Fully decorated in a 60's contemporary style that will take you back to a simpler, kinder time.

If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the world, there are few places like this. I always get the best sleep here. I'm not sure if it's the sound of the surf or just a feeling of seclusion. Whatever it is, I know you'll love it too.

Our back yard is Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Lake Michigan is 500 steps away.,

Nearby locations include Mac Woods dune rides, Sliver lake state park/Lower silver lake, Silver lake ORV park, go cart and fun center, Sand Drag Way, Sable point lighthouse, Fox winery all within 5 miles! Pentwater is 15 miles away. Ludington is 28 miles to its historic state park. There are 5 golf courses within 20 minutes.
