You simply can’t get closer to the beach. Virtually on your doorstep; the perfect beachfront holiday.

Situated right on the esplanade with uninterrupted views of the sea. This recently refurbished cottage is perfect for short or long term holidays.

Don’t be surprised if you spot a dolphin just a few metres away from your holiday accommodation. Your perfect view of the sunset will be simply stunning at any time of the year.

Your stay here can offer you the priceless enjoyment of the constant sound of the sea and fresh air, yet ensure that you are within easy reach of all that the City of Adelaide has to offer. The City, Festival Theatre, Casino and Convention Center are all a short 15 minute drive, or an easy 30 minute trip with the Glenelg Tram. Please be mindful that the airport is nearby - 7 km away - so you will see and hear planes coming in. Some people love this, others not so much.

The cottage is a quick beachfront walk to the sophisticated Holdfast Shores Marina and its award winning restaurants. Another few minutes and you are on historic Jetty Road, where the eating, shopping and entertainment facilities are endless. Just Google “Glenelg Beach” to see all that this destination has to offer, including a myriad of sport and beach activities. Your stay may not require a single car trip, as local attractions such as the “Temptation” swim with the dolphins, the BeachHouse amusement park & the brand new $1.3m foreshore playground are all within walking distance.

This cottage offers you a stretch of lawn at the front of your very own place. Your rear portico will store outdoor chairs and a small picnic table, where you can enjoy your wine, coffee or meal. Alternatively, throw down a picnic rug on your own lawn and just stare out at the sea, sunset and the numerous walkers who are seeking to enjoy that which you will have at your very own doorstep.

The cottage combines a clean, crisp, modern feel with the cosiness of an old cottage. The place has been fitted so that you can have a comfortable short or long term stay. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, your own laundry facilities, TV and DVD entertainment, linen and towelling – just pack your toothbrush and bathers!!.

The kitchen will easily cater to those who want affordable home cooked meals; that is, if they can resist the temptation to just walk into one of the cafes or restaurants down the road.

When you first get there, enjoy a coffee on us - just pop a coffee capsule in the machine.

Both bedrooms fitted with chirorest mattresses to ensure a comfortable holiday stay.
The living area contains a couch, which can be converted into a double mattress for sleeping an extra 2 if required.

Please note that although this apartment can sleep up to 6, it is really most comfortable for 4.

Superb location with everything you need

A fantastic little beach pad. Very comfortable with all the little 'extras' provided including wine, chocolates, tim tams and more. Directly across the road from the beach and only a short, pleasant walk into Glenelg shops and cafes. We loved our stay here and hope to come again.

This is my second time staying here, and it's still the most wonderful place! Being able to see dolphins from your window is amazing! Being able to walk across the road for a swim in the ocean is incredible! And the layout of the house is perfect! I hope to come back again some time!

It is an older property but was very clean and suited our requirements. Has everything needed for a short stay. Having the ocean across the road and with spectacular views out the windows was a highlight. There is no onsite parking however plenty of street parking

A wonderful experience

Booking was easy and any questions I had were answered quickly. The accommodation was as lovely as it is in the photos. The best part was the personal touches it really makes you feel welcome and that its your place for the time you stay. Nothing beats waking up in the morning, sitting on a comfortable couch with a cup of coffee watching the soft waves rolling in with a background of a soft purple and golden sky. The problem is now I want a property with a sea view. I will be visiting Adelaide again so will definitely be booking the same property.

Lovely position overlooking the water and sunsets. Comfortable walking distance to restaurants, shopping and tram. Lots of lovely, welcoming extras included in the unit. A very comfortable bed and pillows. Sofie very attentive, ensuring all went well when an issue with the TV aerial required repair. We really enjoyed our week here.

Beachside home

Idealy situated and would be great in summer.Unfortunately we experinced some of the coldest days Adelaide had had in years,so the heat pump was a god send in keeping the place warm. Due to the age of the property, there was no heated towel rails and the shower took time to ajust .The hosts left cereal and other small treats which were much appreciated.The beds were comfortable but on the low side for getting out of.

Beautiful beachside cottage

If you are reading reviews to pick a place - pick this one! A gorgeous cottage with lots of welcoming amenities that Sofie set up for us, with the beach right there and a gorgeous walk we would do each day. Easy to get into the city and plenty of parking. We also left a bag behind and Sofie was very flexible to allow us to pick it up again when convenient the next day. She'd be a great host under any circumstances that arise on a holiday

Visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 While staying with our son and family in Adelaide we wanted to take our grandsons on a mini school break getaway.
