Beach Batch Culburra

Welcome to The Beach Batch Culburra

Located in the premier street of Culburra Beach, Penguin Head Road, and 100 meters from the soft sand of dog friendly Culburra Beach and the sheltered waters of Tilbury cove.

All bedrooms are comfortable, with the master and third Bedroom having ocean views of Culburra beach. Three of the bedrooms are located up stairs along with the kitchen, main bathroom, one living and dining area.

Beach Batch has been set up to cater for families and singles alike, with comfy sofas that you will melt into with a good book and a fresh cup of coffee made from the espresso machine in the kitchen or simply lie back, relax and listen to some music or sit on the balcony and enjoy the view out to the Headland and Mountains of Gerroa and listen to the surf.

Down stairs you will find a second living area with a PS4, and smart TV along with the laundry equipped with a large washing machine and dryer.

Step in to the safe, fully fenced back yard and enjoy a BBQ while watching the kids play some backyard cricket, petanque, or some pingpong in the back garage.

In the sleep out you will find more accommodation and the second bathroom.

You can't go past the location of this house for you holiday. Close to both beaches, lake and Parks for the kids to play. The Lake Circuit Shop is just down the road to get dvd's, general groceries , takeaway and fuel. What more can you ask for !

An easy drive just over 2 and a half hours down the coast from Sydney, 3 hours from Canberra and only 15 minutes from Nowra. Easy access to shops and services. Culburra Beach is renowned for its lake, beaches, swimming, fishing, surfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and boating (boat ramp located 5 min drive).
Culburra Beach comprises two beaches (Culburra and Warrain Beach) and is nestled close to Crookhaven River, Lake Wollumboola and Curleys Bay. Other attractions: tennis courts, Bowling Club, chinese restaurant, pizzeria, cafes, bottle shop, hairdresser, bakeries, petrol stations, Post Office, DVD shop, Woolworths supermarket, chemist, fishing tackle & bait shop, surf shop, and access to atms.

The house is Located No109 Penguin head Rd Culburra Beach. Beach Batch is not suitable for schoolies, bucks or hens weekends or any other party groups. Please DO NOT book us for Schoolies or other party groups, we are in a residential neighbourhood.
We are the perfect house for a getaway to the Beach with friends and family.

This home is huge! Perfect for large families with pets so close to the beach and had everything you could need.

our guests arrived to an unclean house which was unusual and unfortunate, they were understanding, we sent cleaners over immediately and accomodated their inconvenience at a local bar/restaurant. They took the situation in stride, as did the cleaners. Hopefully the rest of their stay was uneventful. Happy to recommend them to future hosts.

Ideal position. Secure yard for dogs and very pet friendly. Well equipped with appliances, bedding eating utensils. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Well equipped house

I stayed with my friends for 2 nights. It was a clean house, but cold and one bathroom in the main building. The owner Heather was a very nice lady. Although close to beach and other facilities but still I think it is overpriced.

our property has 2 bathrooms, one in the main house and one in the sleep out. Each bedroom is equipped with its own heater, there are heaters in the downstairs lounge and the sleep out. There is no need for anyone to feel cold. Alternatively, fans are also provided in the bedrooms for hot days. The main living area has air conditioning.

This house was a surprising gem of a find! We were a group of 5 couples and few kids, bundled in for a quick 2 night stay in the middle of a very cold weekend. It was unanimous that Beach Batch far exceeded our expectations - and that the sofas might be the comfiest ones we had ever sat on! It was big enough and full of wonderful touches and added extras. The garden and garage of games provided endless things to do when the kids (and some adults) got bored of their phones. The beach was a few steps across the road and the best spot for a scramble over the rocks. Heather was so responsive when we had questions and really flexible when we needed a bit of extra time to get away on our last day. We will 100% be back!

Our relaxing short holidays in Culburra Beach House

We were lucky with the sunny first three days in Culburra Beach .We went prawning after dark in Wollumboola Lake. It’s actually lots of fun for my boys with no any experience. Easy to hire wetsuits across the street in front of the holiday house to keep warm but eventually found they were not necessary as the weather at night is not cold in summer. We stayed in the house at the fourth day when it started raining in the afternoon. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of cutlery and condiments so we enjoyed our indoor time with cooking ,drinking ，playing cards upstairs and young kids watching TV and playing with pets downstairs . Communication with host is quite smooth. She answered all the questions we asked very quickly and sent us additional pictures as we asked.

Located across the road from the beach. This is the ideal beach getaway with a spacious home to lounge and relax in. The backyard is big enough for cricket, table tennis, bbq and more activities than you can poke a stick at . Host is lovley also. Would love to stay here again! Highly recommended.

Perfect for families

Our weekend at Heather’s home was absolutely wonderful. The space, both inside and out, was great for spending time with family. The beds were super comfortable! There are so many activities provided in the house to keep both kids and adults entertained. And it was so nice being able to take our fur-baby with us too! Location is so close to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for better. Heather was so easy to deal with and replied to messages quickly with detailed information. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic South Coast getaway

We have just returned from a wonderful time staying at Heather’s awesome beach bach !! We were 3 mums with our teenage kids.... and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! This house is awesome and has so much space ...:nobody felt on top of each other and we all had room to relax and enjoy the beautiful relaxing vibe of Culburra ! The views from the verandah upstairs were fabulous & we enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves at night ! Heather is an incredible host and we felt so very welcomed into her home ..... so many nice touches from comfy beds to beach towels ! We would highly recommend this house - definitely one of the best we have ever had the pleasure to stay in ! Loved being so close to the beach - super dog friendly yard / excellent coffee shop only 5 mins up the Rd selling great food and coffee ! Culburra is an absolute delight !! Lovely home right by the beach

We stayed for four nights over Easter. The house is well appointed with lovely linen and towels and fully equipped in all regards. The living room is very conducive to staring out to sea from the mega comfortable lounges while the sea air drifts through the whole top floor from the front of the house through to the back garden. Downstairs is a large rumpus room flowing out to the expansive garden. A beautiful part of the beach with grassy headland is just across the road and around the corner is another massive beach.

I'm Heather, mother of 4 who are now all adults - family, friends and the beach are my cornerstone. We live in Sydney but try to get respite in Culburra as often as we can. The place is soothing for us, away from the bustle of our city lives. Our kids all love it here, as does the doggo. Life is simple in this region, if you need to unwind as we often do, we hope you get the opportunity to stay at our place.

Why they chose this property

The beach batch is a comfortable home for guests. There is ample room in the yard for a spot of back yard cricket, or to catch the last suns rays over a cocktail.
We're just across from the beach, with myriad beautiful beaches nearby. This is our bach, it's great for families and groups of friends.
