We stayed here for a week and it was great. Quiet area, plenty of room for 2 trucks and trailers. House was big enough that we weren't crowded inside with our group of 6. Would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I all enjoyed our stay in Mark’s house. It was conveniently located to everything in town and he was very easy to get a hold of if we ever needed anything.
Great cabin with tons of space for people and ice fishing gear! Mark is awesome at communicating and making sure you have everything you need. Would highly recommend.

Gone fishin, instead of wishin.
The house was clean, stocked very well. and in a good location among several lakes to fish on. Fishing wasn't the best due to the weather and weeds in the lakes. The house has one flaw that is a problem for grown men. I know the upstairs bathroom has been remodeled, but the walls next to the stool are too close. It is impossible for a grown man to wipe his rear end after using the stool. The wall on the one side needs to be moved over about a foot and a half, and the area where the dresser is at in the bedroom should be made smaller. The dresser should be eliminated and make a closet with shelves for linen and blankets. If that was done it would work out nicely. We had to use the stool in the basement all the time, and it looks like there may be plans to put a wall in along the side of that stool. If it is done, then it will be the same situation as the bathroom is now on the main floor. I can't imagine a group of hunters trying to all use the bath-room on the main floor. Other than that the property met our expectations. The pictures on Home A Way are pretty accurate. If we go back to that area we would stay there again. We did clean the house before we left. It was nice to have a gas grill, we did use it one time. It was nice to have off street parking, and the neighbors were nice. Didn't have to worry about anything being stolen from my boat overnight. Guarantee us to catch fish, and we will be back, ha.

Vern, thanks for your review. I agree the older homes have way too small of a bathroom. I have a second home in Ashley with two finished bathrooms and the main bathroom has more space. See the Ashley Homestead on VRBO to see if it would be a better fit in the future. Hope you come back to Ashley when the fish are biting! Mark
Our group of 8 hunters and 3 dogs fit nicely in this house. We had all the basics covered and plenty of space for our trucks, trailers, and gear. The hunting was good and the fellowship was great! We will be back again.
Despite the poor hunting conditions , we had a great time and Mark and his cleaning staff was great to communicate with.
Thanks so much, Harry from Indiana
Mark was great to talk with and the property had all the necessities! Had a great time, shot some ducks, only thing that could have been better was a few more ducks to come down from Canada!
The house was perfect for the stay. With two families and two dogs, having the ability to fraction off into separate quarters was amazing. We didn’t stay to do any hunting, but to attend a wedding. Lots of room for eating and playing also. And of course, kids loved the trampoline and local community pool.
