Coral reef is Great

Coral Reef was very well presented and as advertised. Location is great - very close to Apollo Bay main strip and a very short walk to the beach. Property was very clean and has a split heating & cooling system on both levels which made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great location!

I loved the location of this property. Situated right near the beach for my dog. The house was very clean and had all the basic requirements. The only thing that bothered me was that backyard was overgrown with weeds and blackberries and needed maintenance- would not be suitable for kids or dogs.

This property was spotlessly clean, well located and generally well-equipped. However, one point I missed when booking was that it does not have a dishwasher! Not an issue for us as two adults but it may be an issue for a larger group. Stove was adequate but needs updating. Overall an ok stay.

Good location, in need of an update

Property was clean and comfortable and in a great location. However, it’s a little tired and rough around the edges in certain areas. Most of the decor and fixtures (kitchen, bathrooms etc) are dated and could do with an update. The first floor deck also feels a little unsafe and probably needs some work. Could be great with a little investment.

upstairs was warm and comfortable but a bit overcrowded with furniture for 4 people. couch too small for 4 people. downstairs was absolutely freezing and heating did not work properly. bed linen was just awful. would only stay here again in the summer months.

Check in and communication was so easy. Sharee immediately responded to msgs and pleasure to deal with. Fantastic place to bring the family especially when your child is of the k9 kind. He loved the beach walks,exploring rock pools and socialising with the many friendly dogs down there

Close to the beach suitable for dogs

Great location if you want to be near the beach 200 m from marengo dog friendly beach. This property is neat with wildlife joining you on the balcony for your morning coffee. It’s not the place for you if you are looking for the luxury most other Apollo Bay properties offer at this price. If you’re after simple with close proximity to the beach with a small secure yard for a dog it’s great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Loved the fireplace, heated the upper level well. Great kitchen, had everything we needed in it. BBQ is good. Not too far from the beach. Quiet location. Very clean and nicely presented. Great for our dog (Old English Sheepdog) and his first holiday from home.

Relaxing but severely over priced

I had to vacuum and clean the property upon arrival. It had obviously not been used for a while - white dog hair on the front lawn and all through the house. Spiders and cob webs in all the bed rooms. For the expensive price I would have expected the accomodation to be clean upon arrival.
