Bella Vista is perfectly situated on the Great Ocean Road, just a short stroll from all the local attractions. You can conveniently leave your car parked for the duration of your stay. The property is only 100 meters from the golf course, harbor, shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s also a 'stone's throw' from the Barham River mouth and Marengo Beach. Additionally, it’s close to the Mechanics Hall, which serves as a local cinema during Christmas and school holidays, and is a popular venue for the annual Apollo Bay Winter Wild Festival.
Bella Vista features polished floorboards throughout, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. While there is no air conditioning, the house enjoys refreshing sea breezes from the nearby ocean.
The main bedroom offers a queen bed, a wall-mounted TV, and an en-suite with a corner spa. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and a wall-mounted TV, while the third bedroom is ideal for kids or additional guests, with two sets of single bunk beds. This house is perfect for two small families or a friends’ weekend getaway.
The property boasts a large, fenced back garden, perfect for pets to roam freely and for keeping the kids safe while you relax on the veranda. Weekend at the Bay.

House needs a bit of tlc. Power kept tripping at switchboard. Our small dog could slip under the gate. Overall a good relaxing stay.

Good housefor dogs but no working fire in lounge

We chose the house based on security for dogs. The location and secure backgarden for the dog was great. The house had many facilities, but we ate out at all the great nearby restuarants that were within walking distance. The second reason for choosing Bella Vista was the fire in the lounge but this does not work. We had to phone the agent to find this out when we could not get it lit. The web site lists the fire and shows photos of the fire working. This needs to change on the web site.. The house was warm due to the split system and it was a very cold Easter but I was very disappointed not to have the lounge room fire, There were electric ones in the bedrooms. There was no information book on the property on facilities etc which we also let the agent know about.

Awesome location

Awesome place and will stay again, an outdoor setting would be sweet so we could sit in the sweet backyard, tv wouldn’t work, not that we needed it as there is better things to do in Apollo Bay.

Great dog friendly property

This was our second stay at Bella Vista with our 2 dogs. We love the large, well fenced backyard and location close to the dog beach. The house is spacious and quite comfortable but could do with some improved facilities, especially as the price increased quite significantly since last year. It would be great to have Wifi, outdoor chairs/table and new mattresses (the one in the main room was a bit "tired")

Comfy, clean and close

My partner and doggo loved our stay. Very short work to fish-coop, dog beach and the pub. A secure backyard for the dog to run around and lovely shade for us to nap on the lawn.

Good property for our dog

We were thank full that we were could enter the property early, sadly the shower head in second bathroom would not stay up, heater in one bedroom fan did not work, remote for dvd broken, tv and heater in lounge should come with instruction, also reading the info book at the house there was no torches as stated, also cobwebs in kitchen, apart from that the house is in a great location and very dog friendly

Good Property

The house was in a great position and very well set out, has everything in side the house you could want...the remote for the dvd did not work and we could only use a few channels, The grill over the stove was to dirty to use it. Outside I think they need railings on the front and back stairways. The back porch has heaps of bird poops and the bbq was so bad it needs replacing. It was also disappointing that there was no outside setting for such a great back garden. I would go back and recommend if these things were fixed up.The 3 bedrooms have a fire in each room and one in the lounge also. But I think if you suffer from the heat this could be a problem as there is no aircon.
