This place was absolutely perfect for our girls’ getaway! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the house was super clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We had such a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Was a group of women celebrating our 50th HS reunion. The house was perfect! Room to spread out room to stay together. Everything we needed was available. And walkable to town and the beach. We will be back!

Had a very nice stay…Comfy sofa comfy beds… great shower- hot and good pressure ( have had problems with past rentals so that is appreciated) The fireplace was wonderful since it did get a bit cool at night so it helped take the chill out. The pool was very nice … comfortable temp and very clean.. host was easy to contact …

This was the most amazing house. Modern, clean, spacious. As great as it looked online, it was even better in person. It was close to town and the beach. Communication with host was friendly and easy. It was a little too chilly for the nearby pool, but it looked great. What a cute house and area! This would be our house of choice in new Buffalo.

We had another great week at Gecko Cottage this year. Being so close to downtown, we all made numerous trips to the beach shops for souvenirs, and the ice cream shops for a tasty treat. The cottage was clean and comfortable for everyone, and we enjoyed some great meals and fun games, The beach was fun and the community pool is a favorite for cooling off before or after lunch and maybe even after dinner! House was walking distance to everything, clean and had everything we needed. Parking was an issue as there is only one parking space with the property. Street parking was not available as the cars on the street didn't move the entire time we were there. There are new parking restrictions in New Buffalo and a couple of our cars were ticketed. Tickets were 88.95 each and it was a bit of a hassle getting them taken care of. Overall, a good place to stay, just be careful where you park.

We're added clear instuction to specific parking in front, back, and additional ample nearby parking for our guests. Thanks! In addition... There is an Amtrk stop 2 blocks away with direct direct line to Chicago, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Pontiac! Shoreline trains runs hourly from Chicago to Michigan City. Commuter Paradise:).
