Started with a warm welcome and easy settling in to the comfortable and cozy cottage with the open log fire all set and ready to go. Enjoyed an early evening explore of the Serenity Walk and watching the mobs of Roos watching us watching them. Fabulous location to explore the Grampians from and well set up accomodation that was a joy to come back to. Would definitely book again!
Our family of parents and 17 and 12 year old kids enjoyed our stay and the cottage was as advertised, cosy and functional. We enjoyed the pastoral outlook to the hills, the visiting chooks, and the prelaid fire. Our hosts turned on the lights and heater for our evening arrival - very kind. Our daughter LOVED the mezzanine bedroom and we all enjoyed the short drive to phenomenal bushwalking and the quiet away from the bustle of a very busy long weekend in Halls Gap.
Great accommadation away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Halls Gap.
We only had time for a two-night stay and wish it could have been longer. My O/S visitors were delighted by the close presence of the great Ozzie icon -- The Kangaroo -- of which there are many close to the property and even close to the front door. The two ever-so-friendly chooks were an unexpected bonus for the youngster in the group who had the pleasure of hand-feeding them.
Highly recommended.
Our stay in The Red Brick Cottage was most enjoyable.
The cottage, built of reclaimed materials, is very cosy and comfortable.
Fabulous view. Visited by kangaroos, sleepy lizards, blue wrens, cockatoos, and sundry other bird life.
Entertained by three resident chickens who came visiting daily.
The cottages are quite private with distance and trees separating them.
