There is room for surfboards and outside shower is a great way to rinse off after the beach.
The dryer is located under the house near clothes line. Washing machine is in the kitchen.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a two apartment duplex.
Access to the house is completely seperate for this apartment as upstairs apartment has own seperate entry.
*For those with a disability/mobility issues there is one small step up to the front verandah and another small step up once inside the entry hall. There are another two steps inside the house from the kitchen up to slightly elevated dining/sun room.

Buses travel constantly up and down nearby Sydney and Pittwater Roads to all surrounding areas and the city.

Manly Wharf is in walking distance to catch a boat into the city.

I walk from the apartment to everywhere in Manly. However, If you need a car there is an off street space for a small to medium size car secured behind a gate. For a larger or 2nd car there are two resident parking permit for free unrestricted street parking. For those who find walking up a hill to the apartment from Manly difficult there are frequent bus services which stop on the flat nearby and a taxi rank at the bottom or the hill which cost about $7.

Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre. This provides cool sea breezes in summer and easy access to all attractions without the noise and crowds.

Famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach (good for snorkelling or scuba diving) are in walking distance. Harbour beaches with no waves are also great for young families.

Sydney Harbour and numerous interesting and picturesque walks are also in the neighbourhood. It is just a beautiful Manly Ferry or JetCat boat trip to the CBD or Opera House, or if you prefer you can take one of the frequent buses to the city.

The relaxed atmosphere of Manly makes it a very special city village. '10 mins from the city and 1000 miles from care!'

Fabulous Fairlight
We were in Manly for a family wedding and stayed for a week at Robyn's home in Fairlight. Travelling from Canada meant that we arrived early and had a late flight home; Robyn's home was a wonderful, quiet, restful place to be - with Robyn being incredibly accommodating with flexible check in/out for us. The home has 3 bedrooms (although we only need two) with two bathrooms which worked perfectly for us and my mother-in-law. The home is bright, cheery, very well stocked and the dining room was absolutely divine for us to have a family dinner with my Australian cousin post-wedding. The neighbourhood is family-oriented and suited us very much. A perfect stay for us, thank you so much Robyn!

Manly for World Pride
Great location in Manly. Quiet, and 2 minutes from Paolo’s Coffee Shop. A short ferry ride to Circular Quay, so easy link to transport around Sydney. The house has everything we needed, and Robyn had some good suggestions for things to do and places to shop.

Excellent property - highly recommend!
This was an absolutely fantastic property! Great location, all the little extras considered and communication so easy. It is up the hill a bit from the beach, but we just used our parking permit to park on Raglan Street near the oval to avoid some of the hill. Really wasn't too bad, even if you had to walk it. Manly is such a great place to stay, and this wonderful property topped it off. We would definitely stay again!!!

This was a wonderful house that had everything you could ever need. Had a lovely atmosphere and we really enjoying staying here for my brothers wedding.

I have lived in and around Manly Beach Sydney for much of my life and know it is a magical place. I have also lived in other cities and countries and travel extensively for work and leisure. Despite my background as an international hotel manager I prefer to book apartments & houses when I travel for more than a night or two. I look carefully at the detail on the listing and I have only been disappointed once in all the bookings I have made. I bring this care to the family holiday home I have listed for rental.

Why they chose this property

We love the classic Manly 1920s character of this property. With high ceilings, wooden floors, lots of cross ventilation and very spacious. Fully renovated, the building has two apartments- one on the ground floor and one upstairs. Both apartments have seperate entry with no shared common space. The garden area provides room for surfboards, drying beach towels, has an outside shower or you can enjoy the afternoon sun with a glass of wine in hand!

What makes this property unique

High ceilings. Walking distance to all Manly attractions. Quiet residential area. Parking. All new furnishings and appliances. Only minutes from everything but above the hustle and bustle of Manly central, so when you return home it is quiet and relaxing.
