Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre. This provides cool sea breezes in summer and easy access to all attractions without the noise and crowds. Famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach (good for snorkelling or scuba diving) are in walking distance. Harbour beaches with no waves are also great for young families.
Sydney Harbour and numerous interesting and picturesque walks are also in the neighbourhood. It is just a beautiful Manly Ferry or JetCat boat trip to the CBD or Opera House, or if you prefer you can take one of the frequent buses to the city.
The relaxed atmosphere of Manly makes it a very special city village. '10 mins from the city and 1000 miles from care!'

I have lived in and around Manly Beach Sydney for much of my life and know it is a magical place. I have also lived in other cities and countries and travel extensively for work and leisure. Despite my background as an international hotel manager I prefer to book apartments & houses when I travel for more than a night or two. I look carefully at the detail on the listing and I have only been disappointed once in all the bookings I have made. I bring this care to the family holiday home I have listed for rental.

We love the classic Manly 1920s character of this property. With high ceilings, wooden floors, lots of cross ventilation and very spacious. Fully renovated, the building has two apartments- one on the ground floor and one upstairs. Both apartments have seperate entry with no shared common space. The garden area provides room for surfboards, drying beach towels, has an outside shower or you can enjoy the afternoon sun with a glass of wine in hand!
