The Croft Bed and Breakfast
Karen and John were amazing hosts. I would highly recommend their beautiful place. Their friendly hospitality is second to none. We were there during an extreme weather event and they went out of their way to help us and make sure we had everything we needed and that we made a safe trip home. The accommodation is very well appointed and spotlessly clean and very warm and comfortable. A beautiful and restful place to stay. We will return. Thank you again Karen and John.

The Croft offers amazing location offering two seperate dwellings. I stayed in Ashcroft which is a studio styled accommodation and was welcoming; clean and suited my needs perfectly. Karen is a wonderful host who is both attentive and understanding of your individual needs. Really enjoyed my stay and would definately stay again.
First class property, from booking to leaving. Many extra special touches to enhance your stay. The location is spectacular. Karen and John were awesome hosts. Definately will plan another visit
We found our stay to be relaxing, private and the facilities be well appointed and very clean. Karan and John were very attentive, whilst giving us our space. Nothing was too much trouble. We throughly enjoyed the the pool, wildlife and the 5pm cow feedings. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh laid eggs and local produce.
We look forward to our next stay at The Croft.

The Croft
Situated on the edge of rainforest, above the cane fields of Murwillumbah, lovely views all around, from Mt Warning to the caldera's northern fringe. The property is so well presented, the welcome so warm, the facilities more than ample, the food for breakfasts also more than ample and very high quality.

A PERFECT ESCAPE
We loved our two night stay at The Croft. Communication with Karen and John was crisp and friendly but they left us alone to relax and enjoy the unit and the pool. The Croft is nestled in a lovely valley with views to the surrounding hills. All amenities are first rate so we were able to really relax. Karen and John supplied us with fresh produce for breakfast and we felt that nothing was overlooked for our comfort. A sincere thanks, Glenda and Geoff.

Hello Charles, my sincere apologies for such a late response. I thought had replied when we first received your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at The Croft back in January this year, particularly the views, the amenities and the fresh food provisions. We would sincerely welcome you both back should you be in the Tweed Valley again. Regards
Karen
About the host
Hosted by Karen Howcroft-Kemp
We were fortunate to move from Sydney to the stunning Tweed Valley in 1990. Family now raised, off studying, travelling and working so it was timely in 2016 to pursue an idea. To share our much loved property with others.
Why they chose this property
The Croft Bed and Breakfast is picturesque, peaceful and private. We have worked hard over the last 9 years to gradual remove foreign tree species and replant with local rainforest native trees. It is a joy watching the natives trees and garden thrive, attracting local bird life and bees.
What makes this property unique
The views to the Border Ranges and to Mt. Warning captured our hearts. The green rolling hills, the vegetation, clean air and pristine water were all icing! The proximity to Murwillumbah - an east 5 minute drive - made the property very attractive. Also it’s proximity to stunning beaches, airports and Brisbane.
