About Maddy and Ton de Bruin
When we spend our holidays in Bali in 2005 ,we came in contact with a real estate developer from Holland. Within a couple of weeks we decided to buy a plot at the northcoast of Bali and 8 month later we were the proud owners of Rumah Buka. No regret untill today!
Maddy and Ton de Bruin purchased this Villa in 2006
Why Maddy and Ton de Bruin chose Dencarik
Due to the experience of staying at the northcoast of Bali during our holidays in 2006, we found out that the location of our plot was an excellent one. The north of Bali is still authentic, far away from the crowded south. Our plot is located just 5 km west of Lovina Beach, a small scale holiday village directly at the Bali Sea. It can be reached by 'bemo' public transport and there is still tranquillity and quietness in this area. A splendid place to relax and enjoy the Balinese culture and beautifull nature.
What makes this Villa unique
Every day you can enjoy the the murmur of the sea, the song of the birds, the view over the Bali Sea, enjoying the sun or rest in the Bale Benong, sitting in the shade, with a cool seabreeze reading a book or whatever you like to do, while the staff is taking care of you.

Peace and quiet
Rumah Buka is a beautiful home . We had a wonderful time here and were looked after so well by the on site staff. Wayan is an excellent cook. It’s very quiet and the north coast of Bali is terrific for watching the sunset every night. We look forward to returning in the future .
Thank you Karin for this nice review.
It realy is still quiet in the north of Bali and not so crowded as the south of the island.
We Will pass on your compliments to the staff.

Loved this Property! Loved the Staff!
First time to Bali, first time at Villa Rumah Buka. LOVED the villa and its property. The staff was so warm, friendly and personable. We arrived late night, with meal packed in fridge for us when we arrived. When we woke up, it was heaven.. french doors opened, beach breezes blowing, villa gardens with every flower in bloom facing the beautiful ocean with blue infinity pool. The villa is more beautiful than the photos online. The staff, Wayan (cook/maid), Binter (gardener), Kormen (security), and Pablo our driver were just wonderful. Wayan prepared us indonesian and balinese food fresh from scratch. Woke up to a fresh bowl of fruit. Every detail of our stay was tended to. Binder outlining the rules, recommendations, phone numbers, and tips was very well outlined and organized. We asked the masseuse to come every other day to give us 90 min massages. Word of caution, if you are allergic of mosquitos come prepared with repellant. We definately would recommend to our friends and will be back. We feel the staff really made our visit enjoyable and we had a great time. Felt so relaxed and loved Lovina. Husband went on boat to see the dolphins! Pablo is highly recommended and great driver. We thank the whole staff.. Mahalo and Aloha.
Thank you so much for this very nice review.Always welcome fir a future visit to Bali and please inform friends and relatives about the pleasure Staying in Rumah Buka.

A real Balines style villa with western commodities and a interior design
A very relaxing place to spend your holiday. A very dedicated staff existing of a maid for cooking and cleaning, a gardener for maintenance of the large seaside pool and well kept besutiful garden and a music living night security man.
The villa is located at the end of a deadend street. Quiet and mo traffic noise, looking out over the Bali sea
Distance to nearby Lovina Beach is 5 km. Public transport is available during dayligjt hours of with s dedicated driver for the villa
Enough possibilities for nearby sightseeing of further away to Menjangan Island for snorkeling or diving. Also a trip to the dolphins is available while bosrding a boat in front of the villa.driver Pablo van bring you anywhere you like to go got s reasonable price.
A really lovely place to stay
Stunning in Every Way
Whether you're here to see the wildlife and nature of Bali, or for a complete getaway rest, you won't be disappointed! Without a doubt, the staff are among the most conscientious and caring that a traveler will meet and the housekeeper, Wayan, is a terrific cook. On the shores of the Bali Sea, the villa and its gardens are beautifully maintained and our party felt indeed very fortunate to have had our time in this villa. This is worth a repeat visit, for sure!
Truly a slice of paradise -- a beautiful house with an attentive staff. It was a wonderful, peaceful getaway for our party, where 'staying home' was a delight. We tore ourselves away to go on a dolphin safari and were picked up right at our beach! The housekeeper, Wayan, is a terrific cook. She made arrangements for a car and driver to take us to the waterfalls and to visit Ubud.
The small village of Dencarik lies halfway between Lovina Beach and Seririt on the northside of the mountainrange dividing the quiet but still authentic northpart of Bali and the touristic South of this 'island of the Gods'
You will find numerous Hindu temple complexes next to the only Buddhist temple on Bali in the vicinity of the villa, large waterfalls spread along the norht coast, superb diving and snorkeling spots near Menjangan Island and Amed, beautiful sceneries and views over the ricepaddies and you can see the dolphins passing by in the early morning hours close to the coast in nearby Lovina Beach.Hot springs are only a few kilometers away from the villa.
5 km east from the villa is Lovina Beach with many shops, boutiques, restaurants, terraces,ATM's and small scale hotels and guesthouses, while Seririt with its colourful market is 7 km more to the west.
The former capital Singaraja is about 20 minutes by car east of the villa.
Other Activities: Treetop adventures for children. One hour away from the villa is Bedugul with the Bali Botanical Garden.
Inside the Garden is the Bali Treetop Adventure Park located.
Children can climb from one treetop to the other.
A save environment is secured!
Golf: BALI HANDARA KOSAIDO GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB is just 35 km away from Rumah Buka and is located in the hills around Lake Bratan.
The golf and country club has a beautiful course and the average daily temperature is around 26 C.
Carts and caddy's are included in the greenfees and rental clubs are available.
Ski: No snow in Bali , so no ski details
