About Susan Czermak
I love to travel, and although I travel less these days, I do spend time dreaming up what might be my next adventure. I also love to paint (watercolours) and you will find some of those in the cottage. We spent quite a long time living in France for part of the year, where we did learn to speak French. The profile photo shows me at one of my solo exhibitions in France.
Susan Czermak purchased this House in 2015
Why Susan Czermak chose Yarra Junction
The view but retained proximity to good village facilities.
What makes this House unique
Quick to escape Melbourne, catch up with friends or your partner and get to know the Yarra Valley. Very large open concept living area with cathedral ceilings gives airy and expansive feel and the outside wrap around deck provides access to the view.

The property was perfect with a lovely view from the back deck. Centrally located with great local amenities nearby. The fireplace was perfect after a long day out and about exploring the local food and wineries. Would definitely stay again!
We were at an intense 5 day training in Warburton, so found this a very comfortable place to retreat to in the evenings, to rest. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The coffee machine was a bonus :) Internet connection is not too strong and limited, and it seems this is common in this area. Lovely view from the deck, and it was very warm during an unseasonably cold week.
We had a winter weekend getaway. It was warm enough and the bed was really comfortable. The scenery was lovely and we felt like we were away from the hustle and bustle. Some really nice drives with Warburton close by.
You will need to make sure you read every instruction carefully.
We found we had very little phone reception that we weren't quite prepared for, and felt that there should not have been advertising for internet availability as we found this unsatisfactory to todays expectations (do no expect to watch netflix or any streaming) - there was still a DVD store at the time we were there however they are now closed. So there will be limited viewing.
I am glad you had a quiet time at Yarra Valley Getaway.
However we cannot be responsible for the patchy mobile infrastructure services in the Yarra Valley nor for slow speeds on Internet.
We do have about 50 DVDs at the cottage but sometimes people don't notice the basketful.
This was such a beautiful space for rest and relaxation. The bushwalking tracks close by were spectacular and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The ambience of the house was so warm and inviting, totally recommend 👌👌👌
This place was perfect for me it was in a beautiful location and was peaceful and quiet. The house was nice inside and very comfortable and hope to rent it again when I return next year to Australia
Yarra Valley Getaway - Yarra Junction Mountain View - VERY GOOD
We had a wonderful time in the Yarra Valley, Healesville and Mt. Dandenong area. Plenty to do and see and very relaxing. Susan’s House was well equipped, comfortable, very central and in a pleasant location.
We would recommend it for anyone thinking of going to the area.
