Only a block off of a beautiful beach and close enough to walk to stores and La Punta, a lovely beach town. Each room has it's own entrance and key. It's like a small boutique hotel.The owner, Gemma, is very responsive to questions before you get there. She made sure that any problem with the property was addressed quickly.Yes, I would rent there again. Enjoy.

Tamarindos was a wonderful quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants around the corner or in La Punta which is a 10min walk away. The place was beautiful and clean. The AC was nice and cold. We used the penthouse to gather and the rooftop to enjoy the sunset. The owners were quickly responsive and their recommendations were all 10/10. I plan to return to Puerto Escondido and will absolutely want to stay here again.

Lovely beach house with tons of room. You could truly have 5 or 6 couples in this house comfortably, and the common areas and pool were very pleasant and clean thanks to the housekeeper Sonia. The pool is fairly small but it’s perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoons.The host Gemma was also extremely helpful and welcoming, giving us lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat. La Punta is a short walk away with plenty of food and drink options. Taxis are also very convenient and a great way to get around, we had rented a car but it likely would have been cheaper just to use taxis or rent the scooters from casa menta.Overall a wonderful place! Thank you Gemma!

Low-maintenance paradise

We were six adults visiting and wanted to be close to food/bars/shopping but not in the thick of things. This beach house was a great fit for us. The host, Gemma, was so kind, responsive, and helpful! The neighborhood was pretty quiet but only 10-15 minutes walk from bars and had some closer breakfast places mixed in the neighborhood. The outdoor pool space with outdoor shower was perfect! We were really glad to have that space since swimming at the beaches nearby isnt great because of the waves, and to be able to rinse off the sand after the beach. The bedrooms are on the first floor up the stairs and all have separate entrances like a motel. Showers were warm, rooms were clean with some minor wear and tear, AC units worked great. We were able to pay the housekeeper to do some laundry which was a nice option. Overall, great value for the cost. We would love to stay again!

Paradise in Tamarindos

Gemma and Alex were terrific hosts. We felt as if we were on a stage set for a hotel in paradise - live coconuts in the yard; the crash of surf in the distance; spectacular sunsets and each couple with their own room and bath.
