Private deck overlooking the lake, spacious, with room to sleep 10! The ultimate property for your "Up North" Pure Michigan vacation! Fish or boat directly from the private dock, just a short drive to Lake Michigan and Ludington State Park, and just minutes from Downtown Ludington. You'll feel like you're a million miles away, while still being just a stones throw from everything you'll need and everything you'll want to do! Short day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and so much more!

- This is the best place on a hot day!

Great Place!

A couple of recommendations if I may, a few clocks would be great, especially one in the master bedroom. Also, an outside light for the back of the property is really needed for safety purposes. I would consider a gate at the top of the stairs as well, again, for safety purposes. We loved our stay and the accommodations met our needs. Thank you so much for renting to us and especially allowing me to change our dates of stay due to bad weather predictions. P.S. The weather was fantastic and the northern colors where fabulous. Simply amazing

I love this house! Our family bought it in 1971 but had to give it up. The new owners are fantastic and have made the cottage a great place to vacation and enjoy the lake.

Great stay with lots of space!

Our family of 8 (parents, adult kids, and baby) loved our 4 day stay here! We thoroughly enjoyed that there were different living spaces and places to hang out so everyone could be doing whatever they wanted! We made good use of the ping pong table, played games in the fireplace room, lounged outside, had bonfires, and made great food! The kitchen was a little small for our many cooks, but it was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. Overall great stay!

Weekend Getaway

The house was right on Hamlin Lake with a nice dock for parking our pontoon boat. The house was roomy enough for our growing family. The owner was super helpful, allowing us to park an additional vehicle and trailer on another property he owned. We loved all the books and games he had, especially the ping pong table. Our only regret was that it was difficult to fit 10 of us in the dining room. We made it work, though, and would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place!

We really enjoyed our stay. House clean and neat. No ants or bugs. Expectations clear. Owner attentive on line but no bother in person. The only drawback was lots of seaweed right off the dock. We had a Lilley pad raft though so the kids weren't bothered. We also rented a boat so went a short ride to the dunes. The kids loved the Ping Pong table in the lower level. Lots of spaces, indoor and out. Ludington is a beautiful spot. We'll happily come back!
