Great location

Location was perfect and a roomy apartment, however lots of maintenance required. Aircon does not cool, balcony doors off the runners, buggy very noisy. Only one roll of toilet paper and second bathroom did not have shampoo, conditioner or soap.

** Unit exactly as shown in the pictures! **

Our group of four adults stayed in this unit for five nights over Easter weekend, 2019. Here are some comments: * The pictures did the unit justice. No photo-shopping. * The golf cart/buggy was awesome! What a nice feature to have this included in the rental! * Everything pretty much worked as expected. * Hot water was plentiful. * The cockatoos and lorikeets that stopped by every morning were amazing! Just keep the sliding doors closed! Areas of improvement: * Why only one bath towel per person and one hand towel and wash cloth per bathroom? Is there a concern about theft? * The en-suite bedroom A/C struggled to keep the room and bathroom cool. * Ants in the kitchen are a BIG problem. We had to liberally use our zip lock bags to keep ants out of our food items. And the can of bug spray, under the kitchen sink, was empty. * Clean the grill? If that is a requirement for future guests, it would be nice to leave proper grill cleaning equipment on the premises. * The clothes dryer is vented back in to the unit! First off, how is this permitted by any type of building code in a first world country? Second, having hot air blow back in to the unit, along with dust and lint, is not proper. * Requiring guests to wash, dry and put away kitchen dishes and cooking utensils upon check-out seems unreasonable. Why not just add a small cleaning charge, defined up front, so guests are not running around like headless chickens an hour prior to check-out, trying to clean up the kitchen? This makes sense to me.

Hi Matthew, Thanks for taking the time to write your review and we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. Just a couple of comments, being a tropical island ants and wildlife can be an issue. The properties are routinely sprayed for pests. Apologies the can of bug spray provided ran out, the cleaning company would have happily replaced this if told. The BBQ was brand new and apologies cleaning equipment may have been overlooked when it was replaced - this has now been sorted. In terms of dishes, the apartments are privately owned and not serviced so we do request guests wash and put away dishes they use. Their simply isn't enough time for cleaners to be washing and putting away dishes for the number of properties that need to be turned around each day. Where this is not done, an extra cleaning fee is charged because it can cause delays for the cleaners and other guests. Thanks, we hope we can welcome you back sometime again soon!

Great clean well furnished apartment, loved our stay!

Thanks for a great long weekend away. The apartment was exactly as it was advertised and as the photos show... in fact if possible, even nicer. The views are amazing and the location great. The included buggy was a good too.

perfect for our family

Perfect apartment for our family (2 adults 1 child) spacious and clean this unit has a real “coastal” vibe about it. Views are amazing and the complex is a little away from all the hustle and bustle of the main resort. The only minor change I would love to see is new bed pillows. The current pillows are so flat and worn out. Like sleeping on a pancake - but then again, listening to the waves crashing whilst I fell asleep every night made it still worth while. We would definitely stay here again. 👍
