The apartment was in a great central location and I was surprised just how large it was. The bedrooms were really big so there was plenty of room for our luggage and washing etc. I liked that there were little cute restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance and it was very close to the train station. It was clean and had everything we needed.

The host let us check-in early (very early) which was super helpful. Supplied toilet paper, towels, trashbags, tissue and kitchen supplies. The pictures and description were accurate.There was some mold in several places, we couldn't get the washer to work, and the heating unit in the front bedroom didn't work properly all the time. Some of the issues may have been human error though. The location was about 10 minutes (walking) north of the expected location, but maybe I just misunderstood how VRBO shows the location of the property? We were still within walking distance of a bunch of fun things to do and about a 9 minute walk from a train station, so it was okay that the walk was a little longer than expected. Would definitely stay again!

The property perfectly situated in Shinjuku - very close to Shin Okubu - but also close enough for a short walk to Shinjuku station - and from there; everywhere! There was a laundry just around the corner, and a “tattoo friendly” onsen minutes away. We love our stay here

Alex was very accommodating and always quick to reply. The Apartment is in a central location close to the train and many shops and restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone I knew visiting Shinjuku!

This property was great! 8 minutes from the Shin-Okubo station which took us to where we needed to go. Easy walk to all the cool things in Shinjuku. The rooms are spacey enough for four of us. We enjoyed the vibe. Simple and comfortable!

Fantastic base for exploring Tokyo

We stayed here with our two young adult sons and it was perfect. The home had plenty of space for us, and was clean and confortable. The location was also perfect, in a quiet spot but only a couple blocks from the bustling Shinjuku neighborhoods. Also very close to a couple main metro lines so getting around town was quite easy. We will seek this spot again next time we are in Tokyo!

My nephew and I stayed here and enjoyed the privacy of the 2 bedrooms. There is no common area except the kitchen/dining area, but since we were out and about all day, all we needed was a place to sleep and have breakfast! Very good value

We enjoyed our stay here. Although near busy Shinjuku Okubo it is set back in the side streets so lovely and quiet. Very comfy beds and nice linen etc. easy walk to stations and many restaurants etc to choose from right out your door. It had all the amenities we needed including washing machine. Host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Alex is very good host, always responded our enquiries in a second. I stayed with my family in this apartment for 8 days. The location is in the center of shin okubo and only take 8 minutes to shin okubo station and a lot of spots for restaurants.

It's in a great area and a good place to sleep. We were out most days, so we basically used at night. It was nice to have a freezer and microwave. There was no extra toilet paper or towels. We didn't reach out to property manager, just bought ourselves. Even with that, it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful apartment

We were very pleased with this Shinjuku apartment. It was located right next door to a great little coffee shop, and it was in easy walking distance to restaurants and public transportation. It was great having a washing machine (with detergent), kitchen, and two separate bedrooms, and we loved already having shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the shower. The host was quick with communication and very helpful in providing everything we needed.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!! Mold in the bathroom!!

There is only one bathroom in this property, and there is extensive black mold in the bathroom. It is all over all 3 walls in the bathroom. It is definitely a health hazard, and absolutely unacceptable that they haven’t fixed this. Please please do not book this property if you care about your health.
